Of course there's going to be aliens. Todd Howard is a huge Star Trek fan, which has tons of alien races in it, so of course a big nerd who loves Star Trek and gets to make his own scifi game is going to have aliens. I can't think of a single Scifi RPG with no aliens in it. It's obviously going to directly compete with Mass Effect so it would have to tick all the boxes, one of them being aliens.
But you made an entire video of him using fluff publicity talk.. every developer will claim their game to be the 'greatest' at what it's setting out to do. C'mon now… lol
Let's not forget that Fallout 4 had aliens.

I'm not as absolutely sure about this as you are. Isaac Asimov's Foundation universe, pretty epic in it's own right, had exactly one non-human alien race in the entire galaxy, and they were "off screen", never involved in any of the plot.
Do I think that Starfield will have aliens? Yes, I do. But I'm not prepared to accept it as given until some explicit, official word on the subject.
