"did i marry the right woman ?" we all ask this question to ourselves at some point of our life.
I noticed affection/approval is high-context. Meaning, your dialogue options must be congruent with game details to gain points.
Ex 1. "I saw a bed of flowers…" doesn't build affection because it is winter therefore it's not true.
Ex 2. "Nice figure" won't work because she is wearing extra layers in the winter, thus, not true.
So if you don't have affection/approval building dialogue options, it could be better to just take a -5% hit.

Worker skills do seem to increase over time. I got a lvl 7 excavator and hes now after 3 years lvl 8
The thing with farming is, the NPC has to do the animation to get it done. That's why the NPC do it so slow, while the other work they can do it even when they just standing in front of woodshed and the logs still coming in to your storage.
The disgust from him towards the low skills really made me fall off my chair laughing 😀
You need to talk with Alwin in the starter village. He gives you a dynasty quest chain.
following someones advice, I built the resource storage 2 at the "unstuck" teleport location. It's mid map. I mine now and drop off ore at that point. Rinse and repeat.

Wow @kage848 ! That same rags quest gave me 75 dynasty rep! I wonder why is it’s so much lower for you. I finished it at the end of the second year so maybe it’s the order in which you hit the quests?
My wife had 10 hunting, 10 mining and 6 survival.
I married a level 10 Hunter and a level 10 miner and then got her up the duff. Now she is out of action for 3 years…sigh.
I’ve made furnace and unlocked scythe but why can’t I make it in furnace? Do I need to melt iron?

You need to do Alwin's questline to bump up Dynasty Rep faster.
He's in the starter town.
I was at 4615 rep when I hit the quest asking for 5000 rep.
Then I did all the side quests every season until I finished, done at end of year 4.
You hit the deer it just didn't stick because there was blood on the ground where you picked up your spear.
Not sure how you would go about disbanding a recruit you don't want anymore but my guess is change their home to be by themselves then destroy the walls make them homeless and let them leave because they got mad about being homeless.
probably not good for your reputation but would probably be one way to get rid of them.

Figured out how to divorce go to management kick her out of the village replace her with a wanderer to take the house she’s in sleep she will be gone next season and you can re marry when she’s gone found this by accident when I destroyed her house to move her into a higher tier she got pissed and left and took my son so I moved on finally got my village built nice higher tiers everyone happy and guess who decided to come back eight when I was gonna pop the question you guessed it the joy kill so I was like no way get the f*** out so I gave her the boot but she stayed so being spiteful I was like fine but your rooming with these people so I went out recruited wanderers and pack that house to hell, she never came back after that and I re married still what did she do to my son I wonder cuz he wasn’t with her…
