Did Minecraft Dungeons Flop!?

Seriously, this game didn’t turn out at all as it should have and I think I know why!

Did Minecraft Dungeons Flop!?

What was Minecraft Dungeons supposed to be about? Why is this game the way it is? Do you ever feel like there was supposed to be more? Did this game fail!? Let’s talk about that. In this game review I do a deep dive into what I believe this game was supposed to be like, what it’s actually like and if it’s even still playable at this point.

Minecraft is a sandbox construction game created by Mojang AB Minecraft founder Markus Persson, and inspired by the Infiniminer, Dwarf Fortress and Dungeon Keeper games. Gameplay involves players interacting with the game world by building and breaking various types of blocks in a three-dimensional environment. In this environment, players can build creative structures, creations, and artwork on multiplayer servers and singleplayer worlds across multiple game modes.

  1. Tbh i didnt like this game and still think mojang could have added these bosses and creatures to the accual game and to make another game titled minecraft with all these mobs is very very lame

  2. Yeah, as much as I am a fan of the game something like a character progression system would make the game a lot more fun to replay. Imo they should have kept Dungeons in the oven for another year or so for it to be something more special.
The DLCs are for the people who like the game and want more of the same. So I'm kinda confused why you thought Howling Peaks would overhaul the game somehow. Although I haven't played it yet I do know it's probably the best one currently since it has more items than both of the hero pass DLCs combined. The upcoming nether dlc might be more interesting hopefully, devs have hinted that it'll be more "diverse".

  3. It didn't flop, ever since creeping winter the game has been gaining new players. Then it absolutely SKYROCKETED in popularity with howling peaks. There's a new update every month, plus extremely hard seasonal trials where you can get time limited items. Yeah you have to pay for DLC's, but name a single free dlc that isn't a simple cosmetic. The game is growing if anything. I just can't wait for the next dlc, especially after howling peaks (it is a really good dlc)
