Did Nickelodeon Just Bring Back The Splat Logo?

Nickelodeon’s golden era of animation included Nicktoons like SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom, Rugrats, Invader Zim, Hey Arnold, and more. This era was represented by the iconic orange splat logo, which became pretty minimalistic in 2009. Now, it looks like the classic Nickelodeon splat is coming back!

  1. The new splat doesn't look very good. The older splat logo looked great and they should have made the new one more like it. The newer splat doesn't take up enough space and the shape looks clumsy and odd.

  2. I remember why Nickelodeon changed their logo in the first place. It was because of the Evil One. AKA, former Nickelodeon president Cyma Zarghami. It was all her idea to change the logo because apparently the splat “wouldn’t look good on a business card” (which I think is a load of shit, but I digress). I remember when Brian Robbins first became president of Nickelodeon in late 2018, he said that he was going to fix the mistakes that Cyma Zarghami made when she was president. And I always figured that one of the mistakes Brian Robbins was going to fix was bringing back the splat. I’m glad that that dream is finally becoming a reality.

  3. Speaking of the old logo, what about the old Noggin? Like the logo, for instance. I just also wish that the old Noggin can come back. I don't like the new Noggin. I want the old Noggin back. Back when it was targeted at kids, tweens, and teenagers and when it was a TV Channel. Man, I just wish it can come back. If you guys agree with me, please comment right away. I grew up watching Noggin (the old one). Thank you.

  4. A good start I guess, but what kept the old in my head was how different it could become. It's wasn't always a splat. Also those awesome little bumpers with the different types of music and animation styles.

  5. Okay, that combo honestly goes quite hard. Seriously, it almost feels like this is how it should've been from the start… if the start were 2009, anyway.
