  2. Showmaker is one of the best players I have ever seen, however I cannot stand him as a person (at lewast from what he has shown on stage). He is the literal definition of small man syndrome and it makes me genuinely happy to see him lose this year.
    However this does show the difference between us, he is a successful world champion and I am a hardstuck low gold player who find happiness in his "failuires" :')

  5. Congrats to EDG for finally winning a worlds. Still sad that they knocked out two of my favorite teams to do so, but if RNG played a bit better it could've been them finally claiming the worlds title. Looks like RNG will have to step up next year as EDG's greatest rivals.

    It's sad for Damwon, but they've already won a worlds title, so I don't really feel that bad for them, but I still support them. And I don't give a shit what anyone says about it. When you're a fan of a team you support them right to the bitter end. Pretty funny that all these bandwagon LPL fans came out of the woodwork suddenly when EDG won worlds, though. I should know, I've been a LPL fan for years and never seen most of these people say anything about the LPL before. Lmao.

    Also, so many people commenting hate towards the LCK now, just because a few fantards were toxic. You can all shut up – at least Damwon gave us a 5 game finals, even if they didn't win. It's just sad to see how toxic and moronic fantards can be.

    That's the difference between GOAT and a wannabe tryhard. SMK is a good mid but he isn't really above the likes of Chovy and Scout. DWG's real carries are Canyon and Beryl but SMK likes to portray himself as the most important factor.

  20. To those saying Damwon could have won the series if they fixed their comps or had nuguri on the team. The damage has been done, the better team in the moment will always prevail. “Damwon had an offday” ok and? Does that change any of the results that happened in the finals? No, that is like saying any good sports team lost their chance at a championship title because their star player was on the bench or injured and saying “but they only lost because x player was not in the field”. Are yall trying to undermine what EDG has accomplished here? However, I do feel bad for Khan though.

  22. If 1-3 years, Chinese is champions 1 time. U will think Chinese is the best in the world. No, why Chinese champion loses a lot of game in LPL after gain World Cup in the next Seasons(In the past, U have seen it, right). I think because they are lucky(Lucky because Chinese own Riot, or simply lucky), Riot can change meta, change drake in game to make Chinese team win.

    The point is if a team loses drake, they still get benefit from map effect. So i think, map effect change the game so much and it is random. I dont sure lol is a skill game or a chance game.

  29. Can we just accept the history that was written here! First time lpl team beats Korea! Dk were 1 game away from equalling 2 in a row and were denied! Faker had a rival for the first time and that rival feel short due to China! This means China can become the region to replicate that dynasty. Bruh! People won't disregard China again after this worlds

  35. So far, DK faced LPL 4 times. Besides their win against Suning.
    They lost to RNG at MSI, they lost to TES at MSC, they now lost worlds to EDG.

    DK vs LPL is 1-3.

    And somehow, people think they're heavy favorites just because they beat Suning last year, the 3rd strongest LPL team who managed to advances through civil war at top side bracket due to familiarity. Had it been TES or JDG who advances from civil war, DK might not have won worlds last year.
