The Medium is supposedly a horror game, but in reality it’s just a walking simulator with puzzles and the occasional chase sequence. Don’t buy this game for 50 bucks. Just subscribe to game pass and quickly blow through this if you want a decent ghost story.

I thought we are getting Silent Hill lmao. I dunno what I was thinking. I played Layers of Fear and surprised that I like some walking games. But this is so expensive and gameplay is a gimmick. It only breaks the immersion and does not allow you to delve into the picture. It looks like you just analytically scan both screens, not enjoying it.
If the main heroine wouldn't look like a 50 y/o grandma – maybe i would've been interested.

I was very interested in this game cause I absolutely absolutely loved silent hill 2.just listening to your review music reminds me of that game. Anyhow, price is one thing – but this game simply runs so bad even on high end PCs and I just have a mere low budget setup too so yea no buy from me

A couple years ago I wanted an interactive movie so I played The Walking Dead. I always get so distracted by the Silent Hill BGM when it's there, especially SH2 tracks. Modern games make my heart ache for the Golden Age of PS2, Gamecube and Xbox.
