  1. I tend to begin my lists by only thinking in terms of what I want the list to do and the purpose of each unit within, and then adjust the list based on what things in the game are more of a threat, and how I can counter those or mitigate the effect they can have. I feel that it is best to begin in a vacuum and then start thinking about specific things that you are more likely to have a problem dealing with. I always try my hardest to not tailor my lists, but in a high-level competitive scene it's always important to factor in the current meta (duh).

  2. Hey guys, just so you know they only moved the timeline of the plague war to 12 instead of 112, the timeline is still 112 ish years ahead though, it’s only the conflict that’s moved

  3. Would be excited for a terrain talk 😀

Also would be excited for a good ol' rant about the new update (accidentally?) breaking Mont'ka so that it only works with Normal Movement. Or that GW told Siegler it doesn't let you fall back & shoot, and that they won't clarify because it's obvious 🙄 lol

  4. I tend to write my lists with a certain theme in mind. This works for casual games, crusade and small local shop tourneys.
If I know I am going to a very competitive tournament and don't want to get totally rolled I will open up my thinking to what threats I will need to face and tweaks I can make to my list to counteract this. That being said, I never want to lose the flavour of my army. This is more important to me than winning tournaments.

The opposite to building the list in a vaccum are team tournaments where you specifically have some lists on your team built almost with the sole focus on another players potential list.

  5. Bring argal tal to life! Can’t wait to actually start building my deathguard. No longer in the states so getting models and paints are a challenge but no matter how recluse I find my location I always find people who love the game/universe
