  1. I think there is an argument for a REMASTER as opposed to a REMAKE. My biggest disappointment of 2020 was FF7 Remake. I hated how they changed it. If there is going to have to be a Metal Gear game that they need to revamp, they should REMASTER MGS3:Snake Eater. Don't touch the mechanics, or update them a little, but don't change the story, plot, or dialogue at all. REMASTER the heavyweights, REMAKE the oldies that died too early, like the original Metal Gear as mentioned. I think all your reasonings are on Point Jake!!!

  2. After playing a lot of the games recently. It could use one, plus it could spark interest in the series for new generations. 1-3 dont have very good gameplay. I think if they could get the original voice actors, and give it mgs4's gameplay it would be perfect.
Games like re2 2019 and ff7 remake really didnt need to exist, but a lot of people are glad they do now

  3. It doesnt need a remake as its been done already and little can be changed.

What konami need to do is respect the mgs fans like they said they would (then released that flop mgs survive.

They need to complete the story that hideo was doing, bringing the entire story full circle and do a remake of the nes version as mgs 5 took us back to the begining.

Why big boss was the bad guy (tho he wasnt), how you can turn a soldier into thinking he is the best soldier (mgs raiden set in an environment to get him as good as solid snake), but then the rivalry for the philosopher legacy which the true big boss knew of its location and alive at end of mgs4, ended his life to end the patriots hold.

Mgs1 was trying to make clones of big boss who liquid assumed was dead hence returning the remains and because the clones were not of big boss they failed to make clones to create the ultimate army.

  4. I don’t see any problem with a remake of metal gear solid. Why not? You don’t have to play the remake. There will always be good and bad things about a remake, that’s inevitable.

But, to me, it’s so crazy to realize that there is even such a thing as a remake. So many great games get remakes and that is a good thing.

  5. Twin snakes graphics is great….mgs2 mechanics is ok , but damn the musical score and even the voice acting is different …some accents are gone….and rhe cut scenes are exagerated. Its hard to play twin snakes…. Ps1 mgs is still the best.

  6. Would it not be possible to rework the graphics and port the audio from the original game? Then keep all gameplay the same as the MGS1 version. I've seen fan made versions of this and the game looks amazing updated.

  7. ok so check it out, Metal gear solid 2 came out when I was born. I played the hell out of the series growing up and MGS2 was the first game I beat and MGS3 is my favorite game of all time. My friend bought a PS2 for 15$ from a thrift shop and he has never had any playstations before and never tried the MGs series. I brought my copies of MGS2/MGS3 and he loves them and we play them together and finding all the little Easter eggs and watching him listen to all the codec call and laughing at all the silly humor is wonderful. I would love to be given that newfound enjoyment in a game again and MGSV didn't quite do it. Without kojima the game and or remakes won't be the same. I would still like to play anything remade remastered or new because I am a fanboy.

  8. I am a big metal gear fan. I remember being 8 years old playing the original to this day it is my all time favorite game. I replayed about 7 8 years ago when I got metal gear legacy. But I would love to see a remake with up to date graphics but they have a very legacy to live up to and as long as they stay try to the story the orginal actors. I would love to this this remade would if live up to the original I dont think so but I would love to spend the time to play it.
