Well she isn't completely correct about the exclusives. The PS5 does have Demon's Souls and at least one other game that isn't on anything else since day one, and some people might want those games. She should do her research before she starts going off about how the consoles don't have any exclusives right now.

I don’t think she knows what she is talking about. The systems usually last 5-7 years before a new one comes out. $300-500 is considered price of low tier pc that can’t run some games. Better to buy whatever console works for you or get mid tier 1k plus desktop.
I mean, you can't buy one anyway, unless you enjoy getting ripped off by dishonest scalpers. Plus, it depends on your reason for buying it. If you have a large current-gen backlog, why not? Who wouldn't want faster load times? Both did an awesome job on BC.
