This change was to make ballistic models more realistic but idk what part of a dude with no helmet taking an ap round between the eyes and running off is realistic lol
even this vid is old. i shot someone with snb 1 week ago from 15meter in his head and he DIDNT die :D. this game is broken in so many points
I got double headshot by 855 ammo wearing ulac helmet was half hp on my head
This explains why I ate an m855a1 round a few days ago, I was so confused cuz I didn’t even get concussed meaning I didn’t even get hot in the helmet then it blacked from bleed but I still ended up smoking the dude. Feels bad for him
I knew this was coming when I heard about the drop off. M995 was no longer going to 1 tap heads beyond 100 meters. M995 is only 38 damage so it only takes a 10% loss of damage to make it no longer 1-tap.
3:13 is all the proof I needed to be convinced dayum
rant about how printers aren't useful from a dude named trey lmao
St Louis servers woohoo
I hit a guy 6 times with an igolnik ammo in the chest, he didn't die. I'll not using igolnik anymore.
I wish i had your skills bro good raid
Well… they have more HP after update.
i even had that problem at close range… it seems like a bug
Did u loot and know he wasn't wearing a helmet? I see people without helmets all the time when they r a certain distance away but they r wearing one. Just doesn't render for me
Head health should only apply to blunt damage imo, if a bullet hits the ear, face, or pens the helmet, facemask, etc. The target should be eliminated.
Always use large caliber rounds. M80 or better
Game would be better without heads existing. Just have us all play headless pmc’s. I’m actually being serious.
I wonder what exact values are – I'm using 5.45 HP to farm Shturman if I go with an AK and they have 62hp (HP deals 74) – I'm getting 1 hit headshots from as far as 300m. When I don't kill it's usually to gun inaccuracy at that range, rather than not enough damage. I will need to take 5.45 US and try it out since they have much closer flesh DMG (65) but due to it being subsonic round, aiming at that distance will prove rather difficult. You can do a test, go into a raid, hit rogue in the head once then die and check after raid stats.
I can’t use m995 anymore because I can’t even kill regular scavs with headshots and like 15 meters. Happens almost every time.
First shot hit his headphones lol.
nah he had condors on
Is there no need to zero the optic?
I am not using anything less then m80 values. Some Flachete, ss190 and fmj for mp7 and that is all the amo for this Buggy Tarkov Patch.
So I believe you, but I think that guy was wearing a sphera, the lvl 3 100/100 helmet
I know the numbers, theres no bug there. Everything is intended.
Lol. Gamer discovers maximum effective range. You aren't playing call of duty anymore bro.
I disagree about the printer thing. You never need one until you do. And they cost like 30 bucks for a USB printer.
I was like #999, wheres 1k? 😏
I was using bs and I couldn’t 1 tap scavs from 25 meters
Im so high i sat here trying to unpause HIS video while hes talking…
I feel like headshot should just be insta kills on literally everything
The Aksu doesn't 1tap anything with igolnik's 37 past 50 meters, and even closer if they have a helmet that can cause 1-2 damage reduction
Hey bro just want to say GOOD WORK, super annoyed to see Onepeg posting his video talking about “WOW I CANT BELIEVE I FOUND A GLITCH FOR BSG AND THEY PATCHED IT” like he discovered this issue and Nikita personally thanked him. I know Reddit has been talking about it, and as far as I know you’re the first person to upload a video discussing it(that gained traction)
This is odd since you almost want a slower round when it comes to causing damage to a person's body in real life. Slower rounds are more likely to tumble and spend more time in the body. It would make sense however to see a large drop off in armor penetration with the loss of kinetic energy.
great video bro, smackin them for this side seems hard lol I got smacked. the rogue ROLE PLAY! HAHAHAHAHAAH
Honestly imo range should have no bearing whatsoever on bullet damage. Range should have an effect on pen, and when you pen armor that is what should reduce the bullet damage.
man, during that rogue segment, all the people saying you were hitting the chest or arms are inhaling lethal amounts of copium
This why I dont bother using anything below 7.62 this wipe
Trey answered the "Zeroing is off!" with "They don't move unless they get hit." which is wrong. They move if you closely miss twice (they don't move on the first miss), they also move if you hit lower on the body so if zeroing is too low you might be hitting less lethal parts. It can also be the innate accuracy of the gun making you miss since the circle of accuracy at that distance with that build should be around 8-ish inches (20cm) and gun wear only increasing that number. Could be a combination of these factors.
But yes, M855A1 is a 2 tap HS at that distance due to it's damage being roughly 39 at 200 meters. Damage is 33 at 400 meters, so around 350 meters is where the 1 tap HS on PMCs are lost. Note: A T3 or T4 helmet even when penned could reduce the damage below 35 at shorter ranges.
545x39BS does 34 damage at 200 meters (down from 39). Also, note that each bullet fired have their own stats, and the listed stats are just averages, which means this particular bullet may have been a lot slower than average, thus a lot less deadly.
An average Igolnik can't even get helmetless Shooter Born in Heaven as their damage is sub 35 at 100 meters.
Edit: Forgot to check video date. Yes damage dropoff was bugged and overtuned at around the time the video was recorded.
This is my comment. It is mine alone
there are spec of damage at range on the tarkov ballistics website, not the wiki. 856a1 still will do more then 40 dmg at 300 meters
I saw a patchnote about them fixing this, and it seems to be less of a problem now. Do you know what they did?
