  1. like to hear ppls opinion on my take here , i belive that game like League is not like a traditional sport, and what i mean with that is , take a sport like fotball , the lanscape and how the game is played is change a little bit but nothing u cant adjust to , its the same sport.. game/sports like league though… when u change how the game is played on almost a fundemental level (see the almost there) xD then its not the "same" game like even the last split. so that a player can start not liking a game when its like that, shouldnt come as a suprise . but that mean that the ones that stay and try , is likely to love the game and the scen so much that they stay and try , and when the game becomes more how they like it to be . THEN we see the real op star performans .

  2. main reason I play is because I just don't want to spend money on other games when I can play this one for free. I'm 18 now and starting to realise the world costs money. to get the pc I'm currently typing this from my mom told me to work for it so for a whole summer I did and did so like a fucking dog but hey payed for it myself. to get the phone I use I worked my ass off during xmas to buy myself one. and don't get me wrong it's not like my family is poor but it's not like we're rich either. the way they see it is: anything not essential, after I turned 16 they stopped providing which in many ways I thank them because it has forced me go out there find work and buy the things I want myself and get some life/work experience along the way. I guess the one game I'd want to spend money on is only Call of Duty. always loved the fps genre and got a taste of it from Warzone because it was free but my pc is not that good to run it properly so I had a lot of problems. nevertheless, right now I'm mainly focused in college happening in 1-2 months (I'm working yet another summer job to help my family pay for housing, books, etc) and I think I'm out growing gaming, in general at least.

  3. You can tell Doublelift is the kind of person who would be an undisputable top 1 adc in NA if he actually liked League. Desire to win can only take you so far if you don't enjoy the process.

  4. I remember Doinb saying that he still really likes League and thinks it's fun. It's also the only game he plays at the moment (even during off-season) alongside some mobile games.

  5. I absolutely hate this game but there is no other game out there that has anti-cheating measures and is as competitive as League…as infuriating as this game is, it is truly a game of skill and coordination which is the foundation of a true gamer…its just sad that Riot doesn't care about it's community.

  6. recreationally, breaks are the way to keep enjoying a game. I enjoy league so much more now that I'm grinding valorant as my main game. but its really risky for a pro player to take that mentality I think.

  7. Thorins off on this one, yes of course it helps when you absolutely love the game, but any pro after 10,000 20,000 hours is going to lose love for the game.

Kobe bryant wasnt there on his 1 millionth free throw like "god i just love shooting free throws". For the absolute best, their sport is just their outlet for their competitive drive. The best players have always been those that are the most competitive and most driven. Not just in league, but in all sports and in life in general

  8. Lets get this straight, No one likes League of Legends any more. It is in a terrible place. 50 million toons all with the same moves in random order. They ruined team ranked to protect their franchises, which are actually ruining the player pool due to teams like TSM and other that will not give good players a chance over famous names. League was fun when any team that was good could make it NA championships. Or worlds, example ORIGEN. This is a political game trying to sell skins nothing more.
