  2. but is all water levels the same? maybe this test can be redone by matching an equal spot between the 2 locations and boosting gliding with food buffs and stamina meals before it finishes

  3. I'd just like to point out that, you'd have to have an amazing sense of distance in the game to correctly determine which is the highest peak, but I do agree that Dragonspine is the new highest peak, since I made a little test before, where I climbed all the way up to Guyun, and I plunged off the top to the nearly ground, which took half off my character's hp. And then when I went to Dragonspine and also plunged right down to the domain, it took a lot more than just half of my hp

  4. Very nice vid! I like the method that you used (I myself tried to estimate which point is higher by standing on the column, levelling my camera horizontally and looking at Qingyun Peak. I think my error was higher than yours)

I just want to mention, that your 'safe assumption' of the same water level can be further proofed by the same gliding method if you can reach both freefall points from the same place – a roof of Wangshu Inn for example. Even if the flight distance is not enough to reach them, you can still proof that water level is the same at some point very close to the 'Amber freefall' points.
And, more importantly, if water levels are not the same, you would have a good estimate on the difference in height by your difference in time of gliding (or falling) from Wangshu Inn roof.
(of course I am not asking you to do it, It's just fun to think on methodology)
