With Minstrel in tow, the party can get back to searching for information on this Statuette.
I can get into the VIP area now, so there must be a wizard or two that can help me out.
(Also, there is a sidequest involving blue chickens)

32:47 Nope – the Barbarian has hit the target. The target dodged – has nothing to do with the precision of your character.
34: 49 Again – that was NOT a miss! That was a dodge! The Elf has hit the target, dodge and parry are active defenses of the defending character. You'll notice that as soon as your characters get some decent dodge/parry chances themselves. The Paladin and the Dwarf both have abilities that massively increase their parry chances – and while that is active you WANT the opponents to hit them because that creates Riposte attacks because of critical parries. The dwarf needs as much parry as you can possibly get to increase not only the damage mitigation (if you parry you take no damage at all) but also the chance of Ripostes which are free counterattacks on top of your normal action with the dwarf, greatly buffing his damage. Move the Dwarf in a position where he's surrounded by 3 or 4 opponents, then activate is parry and watch the enemies kill themselves with their successfull attacks. And to get the Dwarf into position for that – the Ogre can pick an ability to throw the Dwarf if they are adjacent to each other.
You really have to get rid of that mindset that your characters are missing – it's not the case! Each enemy dodge or parry is a successfull attack on the side of your characters. It just happens that enemies with high dodge/parry values have also a good chance to succeed in their defense. This is not XCOM, the mechanics here are different.
