  1. Letting Meph have any control over the art direction has been a disaster for the Dwarf Fortress community. About 60% of it looks passable, the remaining 40% looks like a Lovecraftian nightmare

  2. I still think the ramps are the hugest problem with all of the perspective stuff. Because those exist as they are, nothing can really be done with anything else, and now because of it, youll have weird things like how the bridges look like theyre hovering in the air and the internal stuff looking off because its not a top down perspective, but rather more isometric.
    I genuinely dislike those ramps. They break everything visually on a design level.

  3. Blindi, you are a devout servant of vanilla DF. So this steam release changes the meaning of vanilla DF to you, and you will actually play this version, and does not feel like an add-on which is what you avoid? (not using DFhack and DFtherapist etc)
