  1. Indeed I agree that gameplay might suffer a bit from not being able to distinguish them quickly. I would've opted for having different sizes between the three, with the elves being the tallest, and the dwarves being shorter than they are. The humans can be in the middle somewhere.

    But thinking about it more, this is probably done so that elves and humans can share at least some of the same armor/clothing sprites…maybe? Or maybe it was easier to draw them once for one and then modify them for the other to save time… instead of having to redo it from scratch

  2. The Dwarves seem scaled up. Like they were supposed to be half that size in comparison to the others. By themselves I think the dwarves are fine, but seeing them with the other races like this they look kinda funky.
