Dyson Sphere Program | #2 CONQUERING LAVA PLANET FOR TITANIUM | Lets Play/Guide/Walkthrough

DYSON SPHERE PROGRAM
Build the most efficient intergalactic factory in space simulation strategy
game Dyson Sphere Program! Harness the power of stars, collect resources,
plan and design production lines and develop your interstellar factory from
a small space workshop to a galaxy-wide industrial empire.

ABOUT THE GAME
Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure,
exploration and factory automation elements where you have to build your
own galactic industrial empire from scratch.
In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a
new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks
to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed – a machine which superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will
push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isn’t enough
energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing a Dyson
Sphere, a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its
power and energy. Only a few decades ago it was considered a hypothetical,
impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… if you can manage to
develop this space workshop in some galactic backwater into a galaxy-wide
industrial production empire!

ABOUT EARLY ACCESS
While the core mechanics of Dyson Sphere Program are ready, the game still
can grow and evolve a lot – and Early Access is just the perfect place for it to
reach its true potential. We believe that by letting players experience the
main content of Dyson Sphere Program and actively interacting with them
to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it
much better than it would be without this Early Access stage. Our plans are
for this EA stage to be about 1 year long. But that is not written in stone.

KEY FEATURES
◇ Build a galactic industrial empire from scratch: start with a small workshop and improve it until it spans the whole galaxy
◇ Develop your very own Dyson Sphere, a megastructure that orbits
around a star harnessing all its power and energy, from the first screw
to its completion
◇ Explore a vast universe procedurally generated with all kinds of celestial bodies: neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants…
◇ Gather resources in planets of all types: ocean, lava, desert, frozen,
gaseous planets…
◇ Research new technologies to improve your factories… and discover
the secrets of the universe
◇ Build mechas to fly, sail or jump through outer space and alien planets
◇ Transport materials across the galaxy to your facilities: thousands of
transport ships will flow endlessly to your factories and back!
◇ Design the most efficient automated factory and production line
◇ Customize your factory and Dyson Sphere to make it unique
◇ Design a balanced power network, producing energy in all kinds of
power plants like wind turbines, artificial stars… through conveyor
belts, and you’ve got technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools
COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line
– the most efficient one ever seen in the universe!

  1. You can build hydrogen way easier by building refineries in pairs of 3. One with the crude to oil process and two that refine fuel to hydrogen. Direct insert fuel and hydrogen from the center one to the outer ones, and have the kovarex ones feed themselves hydrogen from their out line. Tiny footprint.

  2. Unless they've made the solar system without actual orbits, just stationary bodies, your solar panels should be in the darkness a lot.
And seeing how the info include orbital period I'd think orbits are in.

  3. My most sincere hope is that we get the ability to build other space mega structures besides just the Dyson sphere, because the whole point of a Dyson sphere besides massive energy is practically unlimited building space. Seriously, I want to make O'Neill cylinders. I hope we get something like that in the course of early access.

  4. Awesome to have the Factorio master playing this game! Can't tell you how many hours I spent watching your Let's Play and Masterclass series.
For neater X-Ray Cracking, you can put three refineries next to each other. Middle one does the basic recipe and feeds its outputs directly into the outer two. Input is on one side and the two output belts are on the other side (so the middle and outer refineries face opposite directions). On the output side; one output onto graphite line, one output onto hydrogen line and one input from hydrogen line (to cater for the extra hydrogen required in x-ray process – this should come after the hydrogen output sorter).

Keep up the great work! Looking forward to more of these!

  5. If orbital mechanics are correctly implemented in the game, the laval planet wont have the sun on N pool at all times. it will have it there half year on/ half year off 🙂 (off when the S pool will be pointing to the sun)

  6. minute 46: "The planet inclination is 18degrees towards the sun so the North Pole should always face the sun."
Well, only half the year, then the other half it's always in the dark xD

  7. Pro tip: don't run out of fuel in space. I know it's obvious, but if you're empty and not recharging, you'll just drift until you hit something… If you hit something. Thank goodness for autosaves.

  8. I watched 20 minutes…then you sped up the part people watch to learn how to design and if we wanted to copy you or get an idea on the size you made your chests we have to pause the video and frame skip it just to see that….Your videos already like an hour long to begin with dont worry about fast fowarding through that stuff. we WANT to see it. thats part of the reason im watching the video. to learn how to do stuff. if you skip past how can we learn, whats the point of going to the next video or even keeping on watching this one

  9. Thanks for this video about which we don't name. The layout helped so much to get started out. I've restarted so many times with things all over the place. I also learned about the tab key on the Splitters, even though I see it on the screen now, had no idea they did that. This for this video and all the others you put out, I enjoy watching them a lot.
