In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks
to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed – a machine which superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will
push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isn’t enough
energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing a Dyson
Sphere, a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its
power and energy. Only a few decades ago it was considered a hypothetical, impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… if you can manage to develop this space workshop in some galactic backwater into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire!
ABOUT EARLY ACCESS
While the core mechanics of Dyson Sphere Program are ready, the game still can grow and evolve a lot – and Early Access is just the perfect place for it to reach its true potential. We believe that by letting players experience the main content of Dyson Sphere Program and actively interacting with them to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it much better than it would be without this Early Access stage. Our plans are for this EA stage to be about 1 year long. But that is not written in stone

Hey Nilaus! Love the way you're doing the time laps music:) I noticed that you didn't tell us before cutting in this video which I like less. So..to see the resource tags as you look around….is that a setting…tech?…i cant seem to find it.
Building at the north pole looks cool, but the north pole isn't always facing the sun. For half the "year" the south pole will be closer.

receivers don't actually give you THAT much power… for a lot of solar panels in orbits… but it gets there I imagine… 'sides now on new planets you can just use that power

Just noticed when playing around with cannons. They will "forward" the ammo out again, if you have a output sorter hooked up.
Works with powerplants also (like factorio boilers), but instead just connect them with a sorter directly between, wihtout a belt.
You need to switch construction mode to 'god mode' in settings. It isn't a cheat (as the name suggests), but just untethers the camera from the robot. Shift+Right clicking will allow him to move while you place things and move with WASD.
Most creators are playing this far too much like factorio. I am glad you haven't fallen into that trap.
The name of the game should really inform people that power is the name of the game. Drones for instance use a lot of power but unlike in factorio are fully capable of moving all the resources you need and more rather than wrapping the planet in belts and buses.
In my game I have stopped running belts to any location that is over the horizon. Saves space, complexity and time when you can just provide all resources to the network and bring them wherever you need it.
you missed one merge point wich also was a yellow belt at the coal patch. just where the third miner merges into the outer lane of coal
Found a bug, or feature: If you make waterpumps that get water, then afterwards you pave it up, they still get water.
Love the sped up sound of sorter placing!
you can use + and – to change the size for laying foundation.
"i have no reason to use other orbits", but 2 small orbits crossing near the sun would look cooler 🙂
Honestly, you could not leave your Twitch channels-up for more then 1 x day. Not everybody has 4+ hours to sit and watch at one go. Was 2/3 episode one and it disappears, was 1/2 way through episode 2 and it's gone. Somewhat sucks that you watch an interesting program only to be screwed-over two days in a row.
The swarm filling the orbit was so excellent! Nice work. I am very excited to see more of this.
Those visuals are amazing. Really cool how you can see the panels form a ring around the star as more and more of them are shot into orbit.

You gotta make more sail orbits, they look 10x cooler if you have 6+ rings constantly circling the sun it just looks so good with more.
Instead of those extremely long belts why don't you use the Intraplanetary drone hubs to save on belts?

Abandon your home system fly to the nearest star, it takes about 20mins to travel 1 light year, the system I landed on can create all 3 science on 1 planet, plus organic crystal and fire ice. Plus lots of space to redesign
Watching you play this teaches me a lot of super helpful tips and details I never noticed on my own. Excited for #4!
