Dyson Sphere Program | #8 GLORIOUS YELLOW CUBES AT LAST | Lets Play/Guide/Walkthrough

DYSON SPHERE PROGRAM
Build the most efficient intergalactic factory in space simulation strategy
game Dyson Sphere Program! Harness the power of stars, collect resources, plan and design production lines and develop your interstellar factory from a small space workshop to a galaxy-wide industrial empire
Combining Factorio and Satisfactory on a Galactic scale!

ABOUT THE GAME
Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure,
exploration and factory automation elements where you have to build your
own galactic industrial empire from scratch
In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks
to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed – a machine which superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will
push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isn’t enough
energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing a Dyson
Sphere, a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its
power and energy. Only a few decades ago it was considered a hypothetical, impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… if you can manage to develop this space workshop in some galactic backwater into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire!

ABOUT EARLY ACCESS
While the core mechanics of Dyson Sphere Program are ready, the game still can grow and evolve a lot – and Early Access is just the perfect place for it to reach its true potential. We believe that by letting players experience the main content of Dyson Sphere Program and actively interacting with them to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it much better than it would be without this Early Access stage. Our plans are for this EA stage to be about 1 year long. But that is not written in stone

KEY FEATURES
◇ Build a galactic industrial empire from scratch: start with a small workshop and improve it until it spans the whole galaxy
◇ Develop your very own Dyson Sphere, a megastructure that orbits
around a star harnessing all its power and energy, from the first screw
to its completion
◇ Explore a vast universe procedurally generated with all kinds of celestial bodies: neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants…
◇ Gather resources in planets of all types: ocean, lava, desert, frozen,
gaseous planets…
◇ Research new technologies to improve your factories… and discover
the secrets of the universe
◇ Build mechas to fly, sail or jump through outer space and alien planets
◇ Transport materials across the galaxy to your facilities: thousands of
transport ships will flow endlessly to your factories and back!
◇ Design the most efficient automated factory and production line
◇ Customize your factory and Dyson Sphere to make it unique
◇ Design a balanced power network, producing energy in all kinds of
power plants like wind turbines, artificial stars… through conveyor
belts, and you’ve got technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools
COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line

  1. Thank you for another great video.
The quality of your videos has been steadily growing and it's visible on the number of views.
Now, I hope it's going to translate into yet more subs here and on twitch. You definitely deserve it.
    Best wishes!

  2. Can't decide if the science hub reminds me more of Close Encounters of The Third Kind's mother ship, or ELO's Out of The Blue album cover. Either way, it's a wonder to behold.

  3. You know what's really handy for yellow research, having a solar system with organic crystal veins and also titanium ones, makes it so much easier in comparison with using oil and having to deal with the byproducts

  4. This game is absolutely amazing. After watching a few creators playing it, by far you're builds are the best (and the daily uploads are fantastic). That ending shot was spectacular, and I'm not even the one playing the game yet those next set of upgrades sound amazing! So much quality of life improvements in the Yellow tech upgrades! Very much looking forward to tomorrows episode.

  5. For the next episode, I'd like to suggest having a closer look at the Dyson Swarm and it's resource cost efficiency per MW produced and recieved.

Personally, I can't see tve solar sails being worth the effort until late-game, with maximum research into the lifespan of the sails together with getting the Dyson Sphere framework started. My solar panels occupying either one (or both) pole(s) or the equator procude more electricity than the ray recievers can manage to collect.

The note on Ray Recievers is on a planet with rotation, though, haven't tested them on my Tidal Locked lava-rock (yet).

  6. I love your videos and enjoyed the game until yellow cubes. I can’t for the life of me control my bot in space. Do you have a video or a link for someone as dumb as me on how to control him in space

  7. Next game I'm going to see if I can go mine those crystals from another system earlier. It took me forever to make yellow with the chemical. That was the worst one for me. So satisfying to delete those chem plants after finding the crystals in "nature."

  8. I love the videos! One of the things that I think might be interesting to touch on is resource management? Im afraid that I’m gonna deplete all my important resources before I actually use them. Just want to know your thoughts because I’m new to logistic games.

  9. I told you last time you made me restart and im very happy i did . I took everything very slow and planed ahead everything.
I must say i am very proud of my new base having everything organized 🙂

  10. Really enjoying the content, keep it coming! Would highly recommend changing the build mode in the settings to “god mode”, it doesn’t give you free resources or anything, but it snaps the camera to the next place you’d want to place something, making building 4 times faster. Enjoying the series!

  11. I want you to know you are the best at delivering content for this game. I watch a lot of content related to this game, and I recieve very little actual information regarding the game. I know the game is still new, and there really hasn't been time for content to be released. I've already gone through and beat this game, made huge mega factories with extreme throughput. I've built multiple dyson spheres and during that entire process, I haven't found any related knowledge towards late game. I really look forward to seeing how you do your world, and I hope you impress me, as you already have so far, by comparisson to other content creators.

  12. Sadly, he's going to have to rework his research ring a bit when he goes to toss green and purple matrices into the mix. And then add in the assemblers to produce the white matrices. Will be a very interesting research ring.

  13. I love your logistics network, I'll try applying to my planet too.
I was thinking that for future episodes, you'll have to change the design of your research hub, because of the matrix labs that only have 3 doors in on each side.
What I did, (going from center pole towards out) I have a logistics tower right on the north pole, then 3 belts for the first 3 matrix colors, then the matrix labs (so that the first 3 matrices can enter from the inner doors), then another 3 belts for the new matrices to come and another logistics tower to supply the 3 outer belts. There is a total of 6 different matrices if I'm not wrong 😉

  14. If you want to see how NOT TO PLAY games like DSP or Factorio then watch KOS (KatherineofSky)

Ufff… that woman… she is a masterpiece at doing things wrong and not remembering names for stuff, and instead calling them thingy, thingy magingy, etc etc. lol

I often watch an episode or two of her on some titles, and then I am super happy that I am following @Nilaus who makes me super awesome and happy by making nice designs and lovely structures that makes sense…
To be honest, when Nilaus plays, it is like I am playing this game myself… just like I wanted/wished it to be [and better]
Proud to be a Follower/Subscriber of you @Nilaus

  15. Too bad the ratios of blue-red-yellow science doesn't really lend itself to it, but it'd be cool to see those rings spin at different speeds using the different belt tiers.
