Dyson Sphere Program: Beginner Guide +Tip & Tricks! (Factory Setup & Automation Walkthrough)

Dyson Sphere Program is Factorio meets Satisfactory to plan a takeover of Planetary Annihilation. You must harvest the resources of ENTIRE STAR SYSTEMS in order to harness energy for the silly humans to survive. This starts by chopping down a single tree, but deceptively quickly starts growing out of control.

  1. with regards to the magnet design, it seems verry weird that they call the cirular things magnets, although permanent magnets can be made from iron (magnitite is a permanent magnet made from iron oxides) the magnets used in the game look like electro magnets, wich typicly have an iron core luike the one you see in the game, only the core itself is typicaly not a permanent magnet, but a ferromagnetic material wich is used because it "conducts" the induces magnetic field from the coils, so winter his refusal to cal the cores magnets is actualy kinda accurate, so maybe he did pick up something at enginering school 😛 1:35:37

sidenote: permanent magnets are often used outside of the coils like you see in things like speakers and dynamos, but they would never be placed like the way they are in the pictogram
then again… i geuss im just reading way to much into this, but the picrogram is also a verry weird electromagnet, idk why anyone would make a cirrcular one like that, anyone ever seen this used?

  2. This is the best Starcraft/Minecraft black holed Factorio guy building a Dyson Sphere I think I've ever seen. Thank you for all the great contents I would love to see more of this particular Crafting of Stars whilst mining from Factorio's power grid to keep the sick builds bro alive.

  5. Grabbing stuff from belts? Mostly useful when you accidentally produced a mixed belt while wanting a clean one. When you were picking iron bars from the belt you could have just picked up stacks of 100 directly from the smelters.
Also noteworthy is that you can have an unlimited(!) amount of a single item "in your hand". Very useful for initial interplanetary transport – just make sure not to right-click anywhere, then it's gone! Make sure you have large enough empty storage waiting when you arrive.
A single power pole can power 6 smelters+sorters if you leave a gap between smelter 3 and 4. That way they also don't interfere with multiple belts.
Use the first free assembler from the research to make a box full of gears. Thank me later 🙂
Also Winter: "Do not handcraft gears!". Proceeds to handcraft 50 gears while standing near a box with hundreds of gears …
