  1. Why are you not using the T2 energy poles when going to the other side of the planet. they have a smaller area to power buildings however thier energy grid connections are twice as big meaning less. Also the T2 pole recharge the mech if you stand next to them.

  2. This game is so addicting
The poles are the best spots in my opinion for the guns and receivers
The receivers get a bonus for how long they receive power
The guns will not fire if the guns have a bad angle

  3. Note it actually gives you your latitude and longitude next to the planet image on the bottom left, so you can maybe see more easily to put the two collectors on opposite sides of the planet.

The way to go now is planetary and interplanetary logistics to get the titanian and silicon back. Generally not bussing things and using logistics towers and discrete units seems to be the way to go.

Nice to see someone setting up the dyson swarm, seems cooler than just making a HUGE ring around the centre of the planet for solar cells that I have seen in some other streams.

    Thanks for the cool content.

  4. You can totally have a T1 -> T2 belt intersection, you just need to make sure that there is one section of T2 belt before the intersection. I think where this comes from is that the game has a naughty habit of replacing the intersection tile with the last belt type placed (often T1 :P)

  5. I have found that having my Ray recievers on teh poles works really well, even with the sun at a really low inclination, in the summer one of them gets to full efficiency and in the winter it turns off but with one on the other pole then turns on
It also depends on your planets inclination, if its under 1 degree you can sit at full efficiency the whole time!

  6. Quill for getting silicon the way you are doing it is the slow way, I would recommend checking out the other planets for other ores not available in your starting planet, you can send them by bot ships later.

  7. Something that i think will be usefull for you…
The button in the inventory next to the X to close the window, the one that seems like an "undo" button, is to sort the inventory.
    Please PLEASE USE IT!!! 😀

  8. Hey Quill, at 15:20 – I'm currently a native English Speaker living in China. Sometimes you get voiceover offers and stuff (usually for digital textbooks or children's stories in my experience) but the money isn't that great and definitely not worth having to fix a poor translation on top of recording/editing/fixing. I read what I'm sent, nothing more, nothing less. Editing is extra.

  9. 35:35 you have an extra planet? Interesting, i though the starting system always had 1 ice giant with 2 moons, and a planet close to the sun. That makes dyson sphere tech much easier, since you get better receiving bonuses if the line-of-sight is uninterrupted. Planets surrounding gas giants are pretty terrible for that sort of thing

  10. Hold item in hand and press "delete" to destroy. Enjoy watching Quill play this game and looking forward to part 9. I use wind turbines whenever possible as Tesla towers do not add to the power grid.

  11. Quill you will need to a few thousand solar sails, so you will need a few rail guns to be constantly launching the solar sails. it also best to research the tech to increase solar sail life. Also the rail gun will only fire when the sun is within acceptable pitch range for the orbit it is shooting the sails for( if you set a orbit for the rail gun in a bad position it will be hard for rail gun to shoot the sails
