Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire from scratch.

Every playthrough will be unique: your universe will be procedurally generated every time you start a new game. There will be different types and distribution of stars, planets and resources. Will you manage to thrive and build your Spheres, no matter what the universe throws at you?

As a space engineer, you are expected to design your interstellar factory and production lines, not to micromanage every small package going back and forth. You have to transport materials from one planet to another, forming interstellar transport teams that gather resources and bring them to where they are needed.

Then, your resources can be transported between facilities through conveyor belts, and you’ve got the technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line – the most efficient one ever seen in the universe!

– Build a galactic industrial empire from scratch: start with a small workshop and improve it until it spans the whole galaxy
– Develop your very own Dyson Spheres, a megastructure that orbits around a star harnessing all its power and energy, from the first screw to its completion
– Explore a vast universe procedurally generated with all kinds of celestial bodies: neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants…
– Gather resources in planets of all types: ocean, lava, desert, frozen, gaseous planets…
– Research new technologies to improve your factories… and discover the secrets of the universe
– Enhance mecha fly, sail or jump through outer space and planets
– Transport materials across the galaxy to your facilities: thousands of transport ships will flow endlessly to your factories and back!
– Design the most efficient automated factory and production line
– Customize your factory and Dyson Sphere to make it unique
– Design a balanced power network capable of producing energy in all kinds of power plants like wind turbines, artificial stars, etc.

  1. Hi KoS, I was thinking that I did break something with the opening of the window because I changed some keybindings but I see I'm not alone in this 😀 and for what it matters I don't like it either. Anyway I LOVE this game aswell!

  2. Just so ya know, Katherine, I'm only critical about youtubers I ENJOY watching. I do quite enjoy watching your stuff. Not everything, mind you, but I've seen many of your videos and I usually don't have any issues with them. You've got a great voice. You're one of the few that I can watch at 2x speed and still hear everything you say. I love how efficient you are. Sometimes things bug me, but I still thoroughly like your videos.

  3. here is an idea…. trying to rearrange and boost efficiency is worthless instead travel to another solar system and start all over… and with all the upgrades ..no need to fix anything then GO TO ANOTHER SYSTEM and repeat

  4. Happy new year of the metal ox…(^^)
Have you tried stacking warehouses and connecting a belt to the upper one? The game offers some overflow mechanics here, because a belt at the upper warehouse does not receive items from the lower one.
Inputsides: when the lower warehouse has all slots blocked ore filled new items will go to the upper floor.

  5. What happened with the supply tower at about 39:20 was not a glitch but a bit of not very good UI design. If you hover your mouse over the item icon there is a "reset and clear" button appears at bottom of the icon. What happened is you attempted to dropped the wind mines on the icon but actually dropped them on the "reset and button" and pressed it. I have done this multiple times and the only way to avoid it is to drop them slightly higher. On watching more I see you think that was the problem.
When putting down the towers I now try and make sure they are on a major grid line with the same grid on each side which makes getting items in and out easier.

  6. It looks like your info box issue was fixed in the next update they squeezed in before the holiday: "Fixed the bug that the panel may open automatically when copying a facility in construct mode"

  7. As first pass on the upgrade thingy it works well, not needed more than a stack of mk2 belts to get mine sorted.
R-clicking to drop out of build mode is a workaround.
I've had a couple of logistical hiccups from having the maximum amount in the tower being less than the minimum load for a transport ship, might need to tickle the slider down a smidge.

  8. You might want to reduce the 'Min. Load of Vessels' settings for the mall towers, otherwise you'll never get deliveries on some things because you've set the storage limit smaller than the vessel capacity.

  9. The shift thing got fixed the day after, very happy about the devs doing such an amazing work 🙂 And the issue was only if you tried to copy a building while in construction mode, if you did it by going out of construction mode it worked like normal

  10. You can actually make elevation changes a bit tighter by making your own 2x belt length landing point. this makes the belt AI make a much shorter/steeper slope. Not sure how to explain it better.
    _ _ – – if you place the two lengths of one level skip a tile then place the two lengths on the destination level, then bridge the two levels. Hope that helps!! Sorry if it makes zero sense ^^;

  13. Have you seen any of the "Half Height" belt tricks? They're pretty interesting and useful, but the biggest take away I found is how connecting a belt of one height to another already placed belt will let you place belts in some areas where you couldn't just stretch belt to and place down.
