  1. This definitely looks like my jam, thanks for bring it to my attention. And to be fair, as far as handcrafting goes, handcrafting everything in SatisFactory to grind up to coal power makes sense, because messing with biomass burners, which cannot attach to conveyor belts, is annoying AF and should be skipped over as quickly as you possibly can.

  2. Very interested.
With 1000+ hours of factorio and 400h of satisfactory under my belt, this clearly looks like it could be something good.
Really hope that it is very flexible (eg. i prefer peaceful runs in Factorio because i don't care for the fighting part – but others seem to love it) and maybe mod-friendly (Couldn't even think about vanilla Factorio anymore – only Bob/Angel or Krastorio/Space)

Will clearly have a closer look when it opens on Steam.

  3. I don't think the cannons are cannons but more like a catapult or a slingshot. The way that asteroid belt looked was like it was placed there and I think these are crafted parts that got placed in orbit around the sun and the more you shoot the more parts will get added. That is what I think is actually happening, just going to find myself a system with no habitable planets because it will get pretty dark after building this monster.

  5. Also got some Supreme Commander vibes. I'm cautiously optimistic. We'll see. Might turn out to be a real gem.

lso. I'm pretty sure the railguns I shooting satelites/solar power collectors etc. so to be exact, we'll not be building Dyson Sphere, but Dyson Swarm. Same concept but much more doable from engineering point of view
