I would love for more multiplayer modes like Ghost if Tsushima legends for future single player games like Horizon Zero Dawn or even God of War. But I don't want them to all be the same
We all love a good story, that's for sure. And I don't see that changing anytime soon. If they want us to play more multiplayer, they should work a little bit more on them, I guess.
What do you think would make multiplayer experiences more attractive in order to avoid what happened to Anthem, for example?

I love single player open world game style. However, I remember AC brotherhood had an amazing multiplayer mode. I just remember having so much fun with that mode.

Sony is the king of single player games! Their most newest state of play proves it but until my favourite thieving raccoon or dark eco master return in some shape or form, particularly in the show formats, I still don’t have as much hope for the future of gaming in general…
I'm the same way I like single-player more than multiplayer but I wish they would come out with a division 3 in a new state because I love those games and also go through those by myself

Last I checked, there were TWO games you could play with a friend at home: No Way Out, and a Paw Patrol game that my kids have. Every other game out there is a either a single-player game, or online multiplayer. No one is doing “couch co-op” games anymore. I remember the good old days when a console came with TWO controllers. Mind you, the pandemic has forced us into our hovels bu ourselves anyway 😒
I really liked Fallen Order. It was just a few hundred hours too short 🤓
I was really pessimistic when it came to Dragon Age 4. This franchise is one of my favorite RPGs of all time, I play each one at least once a year, alongside Mass Effect, but I really gave up hope on BioWare after ME Andromeda and Anthem (the A-team work) and listening to "Dragon Age 4 will be Anthem with dragons", coming from BioWare themselves.
Now I'm a little more hopeful. Dragon Age 4 has the potential of delivering one of the best stories of any RPG out there, it has one of the hands down best villains in gaming history, so charged with lore and emotion that you really can't imagine where it's going, specially given that Solas was an idea seeded throughout the franchise and hit us like a truck in Inquisition's ending, and that alone should be enough to push the story to really great heights.
Still I'm cautious with my hopes, but now there is some hope where there was nome with the plan of going heavy multiplayer focus. Let's see how it goes, because chances are that BioWare's future is on the chopping block if Dragon Age flops, EA has no issues closing down studios after consecutive failures, and BioWare is already two strikes in…
I predict that the open world game they are working on for star wars will be cucked by Ubisoft's aggressive politics and do it like Odyssey.
Awkward forced nonsensical diversity that breaks immersion by going against either established lore (Disney don't care about that anyway).
I also predict odysseys rpg inventory and aggressive microtransaction tactics with the same item having different kinds of stat you can upgrade either by grinding stuff that takes weeks, if not months. Just to make you spend money.
Not only that, a monthly subscription service acting as a paywall with a very limited free version.
And loading screens + a general lack of content.
not related to the vid but u know what would be sick for paris dlc, if they had a main “quest” and be paris open play and have it where u meet like 3 or 4 other clans from other places in the world where u can become alliances with them which after you can attack and raid a certain part of paris with that clan. and after when doing each 3 or 4 main raids, you team up with all the alliances being one and raid like a center point or a specific person together. then when your done, u can do a bunch of activities in paris and side quests and be able to raids smaller parts of paris or outside places. and even better, have actual ac ties to other ac games which would make you feel or even “BE” an assassin like the name of the game says. just a thought😏
