  1. I absolutely agree with you bro. I bought it last night the moment it released. I gasped at the price, but jumped in head first. Luckily I shut it down just before the 2 hour mark, as I am definitely going to request a refund tonight. This game is awful and that price tag truly is insulting.

  2. An unknown individual form Indonesia claims to have purchased this for 15$ through steam, even left a review praising the current build. Unsure who he/she had to bribe, but maybe there is a currency difference in play that I am just unaware of.

  3. There is about enough content for a demo/teaser, nothing worth the price tag of a AAA game. Just check their Kickstarter page, even the alpha version they showed back in 2017 has more content than this demo.

  4. What looked so promising three years ago, to see this after all that time…I had been hoping for something at least at the Ostriv level of completeness. It's a shame. Hopefully the devs can bring it back before the money runs out. As others have suggested, I suspect much of the interested community will move on to Manor Lords and that may leave Ancient Cities without enough funding to get anywhere near reaching their ambitions for the game. Game development is hard.

  6. If you read the full summary on Steam they actually explain nicely where they currently are and what they aim to improve etc. In our currency we are only paying $18 and our currency are way weaker than the dollar. I am buying and by the time the game improves I will know all the tricks. I am tired of Cities Skylines and this at least gives me something to do.

  7. I had a feeling long ago this game was a scam because let's think about it for 3 years this development team used the same gameplay footage that they had released as the trailer never changing it really how can you show the same video for 3 years straight? The only thing they show us is screenshots here and there and that's it. Then they announce early access then they show us completed different footage and content than what they release to us. Also lets remember when they announced beta testing they want $60 from you to even do a beta testing. What $60 for beta testing are you kidding me, oh and lets not forget they made the beta testers sign a NDA because they didnt want the beta testers showing off what it really was. Then upon early access release they want $50 from you to play a game with such little content. You need to pay $50 for this little content what? I was looking forward to this game for a while but after seeing whats been accomplished after 3 years I do NOT trust this development team. If they actually come out with more content updates in the future and improve this game then Ok ill give them a chance but, for now I don't trust them at all.

  8. Bought it and tried it. In my opinion, this review is way to kind. The idea is good, and the open world looks good at first, but gets boring fast. Plantfibers was the biggest gamebreaker. I had to restart 5 times before i got a map who had it. Storage place could only store one thing where i ended up making dozens of storage places all over. Storage places who i can not see if its empty making me have to click all over the map in attempt to try find it. Or maybe its not like that, i dont know. In my opinion its not realy playable. Maybe in a few years from now.

  9. game about ancient times, where you should hunt, make clothes, tools, build stuff etc
what you can do? you can build a basic hut (no skin means no better hut even they are in the menu) some base tools and that's it
this look like some sort of demo, it should be free to try not goddamn 50$
