  1. I don't think this was whole of act 1 that they give us, because it feels like once you get to the point of no return it should just continue from there on out. It doesn't feel like an "end" of an act given that you still have 4-5 quests that can be completed in the next zone you go to. So I have this feeling that they cut "act" 1 short and they might give it to us after they are done working on it.

I also enjoyed my time with it and I will dive back in once more content (classes, races etc) are implemented.

  2. The best thing about any of the larian's crpg games is that they are heavily tactic based. You really don't see many tactic based crpgs out there. Most are heavily rng based.

  3. Great review, this is a great game but needs a swimming mechanic as there's a lot of water that instantly drown and kill you which can be frustrating. Not the only problem the game has it's rough around the edges in some areas but the foundation is solid and I trust Larian will integrate feedback to make the final product better. I agree with the criticism about Arcing Arrows and lack of details in the UI, interface doesn't even tell you what you picked in certain levels.

Major content updates are incoming that will fix major bugs and release new classes, something to come back to later. There are some Divinity aspects I feel that this game could do without as well, like please Larian reduce the number of grenade tossing enemies, Grenades exist in DND but not every enemy group has one, auto ungrouping for stealth is a must. Overall there are signs this game will be awesome, it already is in many ways just needs some more love from Larian.

  4. Geez if it doesnt surpass Pillars of eternity series they will be in big trouble, Deadfire ended up selling less then 500,000 copies appreantly. It looks far better then deadfire though

  6. Thx for the review and playtests, many things are still bugged and the game is not very player friendly, for instance the shadow+devil sight combo I suggested you doesn't work (sry), but it's EA so no hard feelings. I agree with you, the game shows great promise; I can't wait to check your excellent guides as per usual.

  7. Very well reviewed. One of the few useful reviews I have heard about this game. Some are either gaga about the whole game and others are mad about mechanics. Thank you for taking time to make a good review

  8. Yup they figured out how to get Wizard's of the Coast to foot the bill for Divinity 3 just skin enough D&D for Wizards to be happy pretty disappointed I wish Obsidian would have gotten the nod

  9. Atm, you can abuse the terrain because the enemies can often not get at you, so they are no threat while you can shoot at them from a distance or just pick one by one. In DOS2 they circumvented this by enabling many enemies to teleport. How will they do it now?
