Hey kage848. Iam playing the same seed as you do, and also have a outpost near the one you have on the north east side of the island, and incase your interested i found a nice 2-3 wolf spawn + 2+ drakes on the Mountain side, just south-west of your outpost, in full troll armor the wolf does 40 dmg and the drake shoot 3 frost balls each doing 55 ish dmg…. died a few times there my self, so if you go there, be carefull. And you can use firepits vs the freezing cold, also the cauldron saugeses, u get the dredger inards in the swarmp, they are roaming above ground, similar to the greydwarfs in the black forest, if you go there, be aware of blobs and leechses aswell,
Also there are tunips in the swamp, 3 tunips and 1 raw boar meat gives you a 50,50 food, and the tamed boars can eat tunips from ur farm
We must ask ourselves. "where is the troll pulling the boulder out from?"
lol hunting isn't efficient for a survival game lmfao
I can face tank trolls with my iron tower shield and armor, just keep stam up. Also farming is bunk in this game, you should push harder to get the sausage recipe is 1 raw meat for 3 times the health your getting with cooked meat. Either way there are lots of ingredients for high level recipes that are going to force you to hunt and forage so…. your wasting time with animal husbandry till you get to the highlands and tame the mammoths. If you want to beat the Elder boss start farming metal not boars get some bronze armor made/Tower shield/bronze mace/ and a bow with flint arrows and it'll be super easy. Bow builds are super strong in boss fights and stealth shots on enemies can 1 shot, your not going to be face tanking many bosses.
Say kage you can get your comfort up by placing a deer rug and a stool ,all so make a grinding wheel
I'm surprised you haven't built the the longship you got I feel like it will be a vast improvement over that dinky raft

If you dig the ground in between those rocks where you fought that troll , you can find some goodies . A chest and some bones 🦴. Rocks are kind of shaped like a boat if you look at it from a side . Most of those have a chest

PLEASE NOTE: you can not take ore or metal bars through the portal which sucks ass .

Carrots and mushrooms are best for taming them also you have to sneak up
And you can drop like 20 at once and he will eat them
As soon ur in swamps, youll eat sausages, grilled meat and carrot soup. Insane boost on hp

You can make 2 cooking stations over that fire so you can cook 4 meats at once.

You can melee trolls with an iron shield for sure, didn't try with bronze but with the iron one I've been meleeing all trolls i find.
You can find more bee nests near bird hives.
Not sure how you're killing the Bee Hive's in the poi's. But you can fire a single fire arrow into it and it will destroy it. I mention this because it looks like your trying to break down the walling behind what it sits on and that takes time plus you get stung. Just stand by the door and use the bow on it, easy.
How do boars breed, I got two in a pen and they just eat and that's it?.
I did the same thing, but only made 2 bows instead of upgrading =/
@6:40 Sausage is a good meal. Fish taco or turnip stew is better … Overall game is constructed in such a way that you need to gather resources and make use of them from one biome to be able to have a chance of survival in the other … than rinse and repeat. Once you've improved weapons and got good food from things found in black forest, you can visit Swamp biome, and once you exploit the Swamp to the fullest, you can visit Mountains or Plains, and so on…

@17:20 Sneak head shot, run away. Come back, sneak headshot, run away … Time consuming, but effective – creatures regenerate very slowly if at all. I also suspect you are going to change your mind about sneaking in the swamp or plains biome ..
The Elder = good bow, fire arrows, lots of stamina (carrot soup, jam, meat).
