George will only write the mythology behind the game. Miyazaki will write the story.
Martin's roll in the game is similar to that of the dungeon masters book in a game of DnD. Basically a small short story that gives context. This was given to Miyazaki for inspiration. What has been confirmed is that Martin's work on the project has been finished for a while.
