Warframe isn’t worth playing atm. Literally nothing but a grindfest with no endgame in sight. Coming from a 6+ year vet
I just started playing this last week its pretty fun.
You should turn on buff bar it helps alot with rotations
Champion points are like the skill tree from skyrim as you level your cp you get points to put into different buffs and abilities.

The way around all that monetization is what you did. wait for a sale. To each their own but I can't hate ESO too much because of the amount of things in the game to do. Not saying anyone should accept crappy monetization models, I'm just saying I personally don't mind the updates bc I don't touch the cash shop. There's nothing n there I want or need. I love the updates but i never buy day 1 bc my backlog is stacked. I wait for a sale I like.
