is metin2 still worth a play in 2021?
This is the first time I've ever heard someone complain that ESO doesn't have enough build variety.
Thank you for entertaining your Discord channel, but your criticisms are unfounded on any facts, and do not align with any of my experiences…
Can I ask how far you took the combat system in ESO? From the footage you don't appear to be light weaving, following a static or dynamic rotation, or utilising both bars. I think if you took some time to try out the complexities of the system it may grow on you. Once you get your skill lines maxed you can create or copy an engaging rotation that will not be as spam heavy as it is at the start and this will be needed for harder content like vet dungeons and trials.
The comment about the combat being underwhelming and lacking complex rotations… that's just a symptom of earlygame
Once you've reached a respectable level and are at the point of 12 man raiding etc, you're doing complex dynamic rotations with the best of them
Yes there are a couple of cheesy simple rotations too if that's your thing, but most builds are fully dynamic rotations, casting 5-10 skills on cooldown, light attack weaving between each skill etc
You just don't see a lot of that in the earlygame, as the game's trying to handhold you a bit
You really dont give the game a change, i plaued wow, and gw2 and ff14 and so far eso its much much better.
