In this video I talk about the buffs to transformative reactions that Mihoyo announced in the 4/29 developers discussion posted to their website. Buffs are being testing in the 1.6 beta for Electro-Charged, Superconduct, Overloaded, Swirl, and Shatter. These should lead to a much more balanced game state as far as reactions go βhopefullyβ.

it's actually cool that electros are getting buffs, but what i don't get is why do they also nerfed the swirl reactions. swirl's damage is already low and with the elemental mastery adjustments they're getting weaker. or maybe it is just me understanding it wrong.
I don't have any good comment about the topic i am just commenting cause someone told me more comments helps with the algorithm.

Man ppl still sleeping on Beiduo supremecy. lol I fought Azumanga Daioh this morning coop. We got wiped 3x. I switched from Ganyu to the Bae. Womped first go, lol
(That might speak more to my aim, than my abilities with Beiduo though, lol)
Ba'al not giving out new electro visions cause she's possessed/entranced by the thousand eye(or is it hand?) god, traveller comes in and does traveller things. Once she's back in control new visions and electro buffs unnleashed.
Lore wise electro was just being suppressed. Either conciously, or subconsciously by Ba'al.
More buff is always better than nerf. It still doesn't mean electro will out dmg vape/melt though.
But I hope after they change the EM calculation, there's interesting option for choosing EM over ATK stat. It's already an option for vape/melt, but right now for electro reactions, ATK stat is still way better.

This problem in Electro Archor if their won't work in Electro. We should get buff before getting Guuji Yae or Raiden or else I won't pull for Electro Character anymore since it won't maximize my capabilities.
How is this a electro buff? My sucross swirls will make BIG numbers
razor can get 157% physical damage bonus. Most characters cant get up to 100% specific element damage bonus.
If Genshin Impact was developed by Blizzard and not Mihoyo, then instead of buffing electro reactions they would opt to nerf Vaporise and Melt into the ground.
Thank goodness Mihoyo realises that this is a PvE game and nerfing peopleβs favourite characters never feels good. Ever.

Ooohhhhhh i think im gonna use my c1 keqing that broke my pity back on albedo and hutao banner
Even tho the buff is much welcomed i dont think it would make that much of a difference. The strongest transformative reaction is overload n that does roughly 5k dmg( im being very very generous). To make it even close to vape / melt that's gonna have to be increase by about 3-5x which i doubt they'll do.
We know the buffs are to boost kazuha sales. Anemo is also getting better.

heh, I'm happy I main Keqing and Chongyun(kinda, he used to just provide melts for Xiangling, now I'm changing to shatter comp) π I use Zhongli with either of em … would be nice for him to deal shatter dmg, on top of his own and my keqing and chong to really feel the buff from Sucrose. By then maybe my 2nd team for abyss will be good enough to 36 star it. I don't even get why pple think chongyun's auto's are weak, with sucrose he is the best 4 star dps, does even better than razor..just that he needs to rely on melts and that screws up a slot in his party that could be better used but no more π
So glad Fischl is my best built character now
