Got some lore, after Xornoth destroyed everything and everyone fled, the lava caused mountains to pop up in massive sizes. Also the lava created new life in the world, the mangrove swamp. Also all the current rulers in season 2 are the descendants of the rulers from season 1.

I haven't had the goosebumps of empires for a very long timr
Is there a secret 13th member again? Is Xornoth back? Think about it, last season killing the dragon released Xornoth, & last season, Scott shoved the Rune Blade through his chest killing both him ; Xornoth since they were brothers, but Scott is back alive, so does that mean Xornoth is too? Last season if either Scott or Xornoth died, the other died too, & same for being alive. So does that mean Xornoth is back?
