For the YouTube algorithm: Friday Night Funkin’ is an open-source rhythm game first released as a demo in 2020 for a game jam. The game is developed by a small group called The Funkin’ Crew Inc., with the four founding members being the Newgrounds users Cameron “ninjamuffin99” Taylor, David “PhantomArcade” Brown, Isaac “Kawai Sprite” Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site whose popularity peaked in the early 2000s.

  1. this is actually REALLY good, holy crap, the improvement with this one compared to your first version of this concept is insane. majin's voice sounds better here (i assume with more practice on it) and it fits his extroverted and welcoming(??) demeanor really well. also the editing is more accurate to juno's video layout (not saying your own layout for the original one was bad…just saying) so it really gives that whole remake vibe seeing how accurate it is. you've outdone yourself with this one blerp! i personally really enjoyed it and i hope it does get the attention it deserves.
