The recoil is pretty good, but for an M1A I definitely would sacrifice a bit of that recoil to make the ergo better

the m1a also has the added bonus of been the best sounding gun in the game imo
I tend to love M1As in both real life and MOST video games. Just a beastly rifle. My Scout's sttin in the factory synthetic stock with a 1-8x up top and recoil is really light. Had a chance to fire a Scout ina VLTOR M1-S chassis (much lighter weight style of the Troy) with a vertical grip up front and what recoil…LOL The M1A's actually an excellent general purpose combat rifle, IMO
