Fable 4: 7 Reasons Why It'll Be The GREATEST RPG Game Of All Time!

The Witcher 3 who? Skyrim what? Fable is where it’s all at and today I’m going super ultra fanboy mode to EDUCATE you on why fable 4 will be the greatest RPG game of all time… Obviously this video is all for the fun, I definitely think it’ll be a good game and am hoping it’ll be a phenomenal game, but of course the chances of it actually being better than Skyrim or the Witcher 3 are low. However today, imma give you a few reasons why it could be… maybe… possibly, be even better… or not… but maybe?.. probably not… but then again- I’ll shut up. Enjoy 🙂

  1. More and more, my enthusiasm grows for Fable's return. With Microsoft completely behind the Playground Games team, I can't see budget or time being too much of an issue. Microsoft knows full well that the Fable series is one of its flagship titles.

As for Playground Games, the Forza Horizon series proved to me that they have the ability to make beautiful and truly immersive game worlds. No doubt they will step up on that level in this case with Fable.

Speaking of Bethesda, I am hopeful (to a degree) that this time around, Fable will include some kind of character creator. it would be really nice if they took the feature of being able to "name" yourself as Fallout 4 allowed you to. That way you could play as "yourself" and the world would recognize you as whatever name you picked instead of using the nicknames that have been a hallmark of the series till now: EG: Arse-Face, Chicken-Chaser, Pie-Master, etc. Those have their charm but…. if for example my name were "Joshua", I would want to be recognized as "Joshua" in the game also. Give me the option of my name, if it were reasonably possible. I mention Fallout 4 because it had a huge name list for possible choices of a name.

  2. I think a system evolving from the original fable 1 magic, bow, and sword system would be awesome. What I have in mind is a system that would be like triangle that would stretch/compress based on what the player what's to prioritize. This gives room to really make your own hero. For example,
I could make a hero that virtually knows no magic but because of that he/she is stronger or gets access to things a mage wouldnt know like dual wielding or heavy strikes etc.
Or if I wanted to be full mage I could still use a sword but I could use a bigger variety of spells

  3. I'm still curious if a true open world Fable would work? For over on Fable's Reddit fan page a former team member was saying that it would not be very Fable like with it. They said it wouldn't work because Fable has secrets that are tucked away in the corners and crevices of the current layouts of the games that wouldn't translate into an open world. But, making narrow passages and well hidden secrets that lay out of sight isn't hard to do perhaps in an open world so long as they include a whole Lotta elevation that would naturally obscure everything from sight. I don't know, but it'll be interesting none the less to see the approach they take.

  4. I could never get into fable I tried to play fable 1 2 and 3 and it was just boring but Witcher 3 and Skyrim I just flowed into with the great graphics along with fluid combat magic and alchemy and great dlc an amazing story line and intriguing charcters along with the Witcher 3 some references with the previous games and the book also get me excited that if some people may not have noticed and I am happy when I get to point it out to them and make them happy.(:

  5. Great video, brings up some interesting points. I'm pretty excited for the new fable, just wish it wasn't so far out 🙁 but it makes sense to let them have their time to make it the best game it can be.
