Factorio is a game in which you build and maintain factories.
You will be mining resources, researching technologies, building infrastructure, automating production and fighting enemies. Use your imagination to design your factory, combine simple elements into ingenious structures, apply management skills to keep it working and finally protect it from the creatures who donโt really like you.
Join forces with other players in cooperative Multiplayer, create huge factories, collaborate and delegate tasks between you and your friends. Add mods to increase your enjoyment, from small tweak and helper mods to complete game overhauls, Factorioโs ground-up Modding support has allowed content creators from around the world to design interesting and innovative features. While the core gameplay is in the form of the freeplay scenario, there are a range of interesting challenges in the form of the Scenario pack, available as free DLC. If you donโt find any maps or scenarios you enjoy, you can create your own with the in-game Map Editor, place down entities, enemies, and terrain in any way you like, and even add your own custom script to make for interesting gameplay.

Have you tried Mindustry? Its kinda like factorio, just for mobile. (It may or may not be just as addictive)
5:35 hour spent per week reveal? (Man thats a lot of stuff to do in 3 hours) ๐
11:02 boo! wrong answer! /s
16:11 obviously his favorite youtuber is himself
Don't buy a gaming chair. 'Specially if your back hurts. If you're gonna buy a chair look at the Steelcase Leap. Or if you only want mesh, the whatsitcalled everybody gets…. herman miller, can't think of the name of the product but it's the flagship one.
Ok no gaming chair. Do you have gaming socks?
Hey Xterminator Great Video! I have a Question for next week. Are you able to show us I guess a little tutorial on how to build the bridges in the cargo ships mod? and how to get the railway to operate over the bridge? Would be amazing! Thanks man. ๐
So, now that you're working at the Lego store… What's your favorite Lego… either set (present or past), or series, or both. (Technic? Star wars? Set 92176? 8880? Other?)
Do you review mods that modify balancing?
please don't get me wrong:
I think you have a lot to improve if you want to live from streaming and youtube.
I have been watching you for around 2/3 years (i think), before factorio 0.16, and since then your videos have almost no change.
The videos have no edits, which means some bad recordings stay there
Monotonous videos, always the same intro, outro, voice… even the content doesn't change that much…
You should not be scared to learn and do something different. Why do you think you only have 37k subs after all this time? and less than 5k views per video
You were lucky to be one of the first factorio youtubers, but you are not evolving, thats what I think… don't be lazy, do hard stuff!
another example is the reddit videos, you look lazy to think about things, watch the video or something else.. you can do that and in the end edit, add or remove that from the video…
also, I love the mod review videos, but some of them should be more explored, think about details. I find some of those videos interesting but not explained enough
idk, its not hate, I just think you could be much better, but you are being lazy… leave out of your confort zone and you will find yourself in a better position
usually people say nothing and just leave from your channel, but at least i said something…
What would your advice be for building a community around a certain niche? Where would you start? Assuming no other communities exits for that niche.
Instead of a gaming chair, I'm looking into a standing desk for helping with my back and poor posture.
gamers nexus did a review of chairs recently if you are interested in learning about the main differences (they mainly focus on computer hardware). Also what's your favorite LEGO set and do you know what LEGO means/derived from cause it a some what interesting story?
other Factorio youtube creators aren't the competition. time is your competition.
Youtubers are very awful competition that only want to steal viewers each other,
there are some things that you could do to increase quality of your videos (you didn't liked Mr. koval answer, so there is mine):
1. Of course editing, things like picture of comment you are talking about would be coo, or cut out all dead spaces, but it's of course very time consuming to edit videos :/
2. Make thumbnails for new videos
3. Add timestamps, so people could find answers to questions they are looking for
4. Editing is time-consuming, but you can make a shortcut in your OBS to pause recording and for example use it here 11:16 – 11:30
Those are few of my suggestions to make your videos better I hope it'll be useful and as a suggestion for editing software I recommend a Resolve Davinci, it's free however very powerful
Good luck with your channel Xterminator ๐
You may think Spanish is "boring", but from what I've heard about it, it's got some very interesting features! Also, it's the language I should learn, especially now that I have a Peruvian brother-in-law <.<
I haven't known many people with dyslexia (or at least they don't talk about it), so I don't have a good idea what it really means. For example, I was not expecting you to say you enjoyed Russian: to me Cyrillic letters look a lot more same-y than Latin letters (lots of straight lines and right angles), but now that I think about it, I have no idea if that's how dyslexia actually works. Is there anything you can put your finger on that makes certain writing systems easier or harder to deal with? I've got a special fondness for mathematical notation, so I'd especially be interested on your perspective there, assuming the math curriculum didn't drop you down a well like so many others.
The day has come my fellow Factorio Engineers.
IGN finally did a Factorio review, and Nilaus is very angry over on Reddit. I'm not particularly happy about the review either.

Would you like to comment on the whole Industrial Revolution situation and the dev doubling down on no for-profit streaming? I would love to watch you build an IR2 mega-base, but that's sadly not to be as things stand.
You always go nuts when you see someone had made Lego Factorio. With your access to a Lego store I would want to see your mock up of a Lego Factorio set.
Question? I'm in the middle of a new playthrough and I have just got blue science going and oil setup. and purple and yellow science researched. I have hit a point where I'm not sure what to next. My question is how do you know what the next step is?
The best chair I've ever used was one from Herman Miller. The two top ones in my opinion are Aeron and Mirra2. Never was disapointed with those. They are expensive, but totally worth it. I work and play games on these for hours, no prob at all.
