Faker & Black Sun WITH LYRICS | FNF Vs. Sonic.EXE Cover

This is a little project I’ve had in the works for quite some time, seeing as it is one of my favorite songs and characters from VS Sonic.EXE. While this is not my first time dipping into the waters of lyrical Friday Night Funkin’ arrangements, it is my first full cover of a song. I had a ton of fun making this and I hope everyone enjoys it!

I’d like to give a Titanic shoutout to all who aided in seeing this uploaded! Though I could have spent God knows How long refining it, I felt it’d not only be good practice to get these covers to a completed state, but so Very funny to have this be my April Fool’s Day upload as well. Concerns, Comments, and Criticism are all very welcome and encouraged!

Speaking of the day’s festivities, I encourage you to check out the limited edition Turtle Pals Tapes VS Sonic.EXE CD run! It includes five of the songs I made for VS Sonic.EXE V2.5: Fight or Flight, Manual Blast, Gotta Go, Unnamed X-Terion Song, and Perdition. If you have a dime in your pocket and any interest in owning a physical copy of these songs and more, then head on over to the Turtle Pals Tapes website and buy the CD! But don’t be too slow, as pre-orders only last until April 15th. https://www.turtlepalstapes.com/product/exe

Happy April’s : )

  1. This ain't even A TAKE on lyrics, this better be canon man, like I'm going to riot just to vote to make these THE canonical lyrics to Black sun at least, forget literally every other take on this.

This is so good, I can finally be at peace and forget about what could've been with Nominal's unfinished Black Sun and Faker songs.

Side note I LOVE the detail that even after transforming, he doesn't refer directly to HIMSELF as the "Terror" or "Monster" in the situation, kinda leading on that he isn't the evil one in the situation, that he only stands in the middle, as if presenting himself as a solution, or an equal balancing force beyond the scope of good and evil.

I love the idea of an EXE that blurs the line like this, he's not the hero fighting some monster, but he's also not the villain or a monstrous embodiment of death and evil. He is just that, that enigmatic middle ground.

  2. Knowing what may be found peering into friday night funkin' songs with lyrics, i thought at first that this was an april fools joke, but it's actually astoundingly good, lyrics are well composed and the singing is great.

  3. OMG THIS IS SO GOOD! From the anime-like thumbnail to the unique take you went with for these lyrics. They really make you question what Faker/EXE's true intentions are and flesh-out their personalities a lot more. Really great lyrics, can't wait to see what else you make.

  4. This is too good to be true, holy shit
So does he initially wish to make himself seem like the hero in the face of the destruction he himself caused, but once the disguise drops, he seems to want to bring everybody into an animalistic new age? Pretty cool interpretation

  5. A fucking Krokdial reference?? That is unexpected to hear that russian drug again, though it makes sense, it is a fake version of Meth, but worst, making your very skin blister and peel from increased usage and increased addiction and overdose rates, and Faker himself, it just- I don't just fear him in this, I fear myself in it, he makes you question your life, why you go, why you run, why you even dear to approach the entity known as EXE, He doesn't want to kill you, he wants you to kill your confidence and spirit, the will to live and the will of strength, and if this still verses Boyfriend still, a headstrong good willed boy who wants to protect his GF, This might not be a battle you can win with beeps and boops.

  6. I… I honestly don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. This is absolutely phenomenal, and by far the best lyrical adaptation to come from this community. You did Faker absolute justice.
