The 60fps mod is obviously the way to go unless you're playing on a 1080p screen or Series S.
Just got the LG CX and I guess I'm so impressed with the butter smooth 120 fps in a few games, I didn't really have time to compare. Will definitely look for it when I get to Bethesda Games etc. Thank you.
Its not only resolution, its also textures and LOD. I think fps boost switches it to xbox one s mode. It looks terrible with fps boost.
Theres another work around
Turn off FPS Boost for Fallout 4 and launch the game in to the main menu
Open your menu, and launch another game. This puts Fallout 4 in the Quick Resume state (Xbox sees it as not running)
Go back to the Fallout 4 icon, and turn FPS Boost back on and launch the game
The game starts from Quick Resume, but is running near 60fps. It does seem a bit choppier than the reduced resolution, but not by much.
Works on 76 also
I don't get why they did this to fallout, Skyrim looks so much better now with the boost
Having played Fall Out 4 in 30fps previously i don't want to go back to that.
I'll give the MOD and the FPS Boost mode a try and see which looks/feels better.
Sorry everyone, not sure what happened at 1:07, please excuse the video error.
Graphics mod mode is gorgeous and runs smooth. As soon as I turn on the fps boost, it looks like a real fallout game, dogshit textures lol
So if you have VRR display you are better off with mod for 60fps rather than fps boost. I don't mind 1080p however draw distances it is a deal breaker for me. I will be playing it with 60fps mod.
Actually prefer a stable 60fps than the 4k mode, even looks the same to me
Does the mod stop your achievements?
