  1. Still watching every episode done for this game. I hope we'll soon see even more things available to make the village look more natural. I like the things they already added. Also I hope there will still be a story behind it, otherwise it will get boring for some players.

  2. Field workers do not till the land until itā€™s time to seed. Because if you till the land on the last day in a season, it disappears the following season. Which i really love because that is accurate. Would be better if they implemented weeds though.

Also feathers, fur and leather can be hunted in the lodge.

I use the leather for noble boots.
    Fur for Fur BOOTS.
And obviously feathers for iron arrows, which are still a viable option.

Also try making FLAT straw hats.

  3. All in all the iron arrows are still a good money maker. You just have to use feathers now. Iā€™m fairly certain you said that it should need them as it makes sense. Also, if you can put your character on something they will stay at and do without input from you, while AFK. Like I put them to threshing while I go to the fridge or use restroom whatever, come back a few minutes later, done. Simple sacks, pile leather in front of the bench, at night when villagers sleep you can get 100 SS while you piss n get a snack. You can do it with iron arrows too.

  4. I guess, just a personal aesthetic, but I think the regular torches would've looked better out in the farms with their rugged appearance, keeping the large lanterns for the town proper. Would help with orientation issue as well. But that's just me, :). And wouldn't be possible to put the farm down in your outdoor area, and just delete the sections where the tables and benches are going?

  5. When using the thresh do it right at the very end of a season…once clicking E to use you can thresh as much, rye, wheat, flax and it wont go to the next season until you come out of the thresh.. so you can do 1000 Flax.. leave the screen and go make a cup tea… come back then thresh as much Rye ..go for a shit…come back thresh wheat and it wont penalise your health, water or food bars …Then until you leave the thresh the next season wont start and put you in your house…its a glitch i found ….

  6. Thanks for your detailed explanations. You have really helped me learn this game. One thing I have yet to learn though— what is the benefit of a worker that has high diplomatic skills? I just don't see the value of those workers.

  7. So I was working on getting to 700 Dynasty Reputation, but once I completed the Big Game and building a building they wanted; 4535 Reputation points. I'm torn between liking the glitch and being pissed lol

  8. You can still make iron arrows, the problem you have is your hunter is not collecting feathers.

Figure out blacksmith crafting time for one stack of arrows then jack the hunting lodge feather production up to 80% then assign more hunters until feather supply meets demand.
My blacksmith and hunters all have the same skill level, 3 hunters are exceeding demand from the blacksmith.

  9. You are right about the top of the lantern being the issue. If you take your repair hammer out and set to destroy you will see the build area for plots extends very high. Edit: Maybe try torches at the farms?

  10. Have you thought about pairing someone really good at crafting with someone who sucks? You could power level them that way. I feel lucky because I got a bunch of people with level 5 crafting in my town before they nerfed the NPCs.

  11. Best way I've found to make money is do all your thrashing on the last night of a season and then sell the seeds they're light and flax and wheat sell for 4 gold per seed

  12. Have your cows and goats still make the milk just sell the buckets of milk
And it would be kinda cool in like the snow storm event that a small possibility of some of your villagers getting injured or killed kinda show they didn't make it back inside in time

  13. stagger the lights zig zag on the paths so each one lights up a area where the other ones light stops so you have no gap between lights like one on the right side one on the left side of a path so it lights up the whole path uses less lights then all on one side. like street lamps one on one side one further down on the other sideand so forth. lights up the whole street.

  14. Winter wheat I do not think is ready to harvest until summer, so flax can not be planted until the next spring. I wish the game let you set the crops for each field based on season. The best is flax in the spring, cabbage in the summer, and rye in the winter (rye is ready in the spring I think). Then again you get taxed based on the harvests so as long as you have the fields it does not matter much. I run a medium cabbage field and a large flax field. I sell half the food and ALL the flax stalks, straw, and all but 100 of the seeds. My village is pretty much finished so I do not need much straw. I have the blacksmith making torches and the seamstress making simple pouches. Maybe I will grow some onions and use the cooked meat. I have hunters level 8 and level 7 and they hunt a ton. I split it to meat feathers and leather because I was just selling 2/3 the meat raw so it would not go bad. I think you can used cooked meat with onions.

  15. I'd love to see people from nowadays actually do the building in the medieval period "No this stick must be 1 mm to the left…" Everyone looks at them like they grew a new head
I think your videos are great Kage but I wholly dislike this insane picture perfection thing every single You Tuber that covers this game has to building their village. Not that im saying it should be all over the place but spending hours on something to make sure its 1 mm further in just makes me shake my head. Their are no organic looking villages in any youtubers villages they are all choreographed with absolute perfection that just simply wouldnt exist in the real world, I made my village look like the hamlet I lived in when I was a kid and honestly its far from picture perfection.

  16. part of your problem with crafting is that you keep moving your people around and so they don't get to make lots and you keep adjusting the settings . . . also you are the priority setter you're the line manager for the peons, you keep an eye on stock control, stop blaming your peons šŸ˜› they're only Ai, As for your farmers not tilling the field, they only fertilize fields in the season that it's getting planted since at season change thy loose the fertility and go back to unploughed. as for the Arrows, it's probably less a nerf and more of a fix as it made no sense that they didn't need feathers to make them in the first place especially when iron bolts required feathers pre update.

  17. Hey Kage, in Sewing II i craft the noble boots, cust 36 leather, but its easy get in Hunting Lodge, and give i realy money and is the best way for you use your leather. I hope you see the coment and i can help you šŸ˜›
If you want do food for money dont use the Stove because dont have any food give money, if you sell the flour win more money.
And dont make the Straw Hat, you gonna lose money too.

Great work and i love your videos. @kage848
