  1. Oh I for sure know my favourite game. It's a game that has a deep impact. The game was made with the help of many psychologists and sufferers of psychosis who were consulted throughout the whole process.

The game is Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. It's incredibly. It's an AA quality game that showed people indie developers could make insane AAA style games.

The game is about a Celtic woman from the orkney isles who is ostracized from her village as a sort of seer. She returns home to her village one day to find out that it has been rated by Vikings and everybody has been massacred including her lover Dillion. And so send to what goes on a massive quest (with Dillions severed head) to free her dead lovers soul from the Viking underworld. The game is very scary and terrifying, the sound design is so good because they use a binaural mic so you can hear the voices in Senua's head as they walk in circles around you and get closer and further away, the puzzles in the game are a great representation of the delusions and obsessions people experience, the woman who plays Senua is the company's video editor that they just kept using for a stand-in all the time and she did such a fantastic job that they eventually gave her the role and used her mo-cap performance despite never having had any prior acting experience, not to mention all of the cutting edge technologies they either innovated or pioneered while making the game. But the reason that the game is so fantastic is because it is such such such an incredibly accurate depiction of what experiencing psychosis can be like. And so the game has an incredible Legacy of finally making people understand what schizophrenia is like and so there are tons of testimonials from people writing in to say that they have a loved one who is schizophrenic that they always thought was just being weak and needed to suck it up, but now they finally have some kind of inkling bidm what that person is going through and it has completely changed the way they see that person's mental illness. And that is a legacy that's a fantastic one for a game to have.

As a narrative experience, Hellblade is sheer brilliance that sparks compassion and understanding and I love that.

You guys should realllly watch the trailers and do it with headphones on for sure. It's a necessity. Make sure you type Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice so that you don't get the trailer for the upcoming sequel.

Lmao the game is so scary too you guys.

My other favourite games are Bloodborne and Final Fantasy (but if I tell you which one I will be executed by all the people that think it's one of the worst FF games lmao).

I'm also currently a large fan of Genshin Impact

  2. I used to love to play video games! But I don't have a game system anymore lol (I have an addictive personality😱).
My favorite video games include God of War, Tony Hawk, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Just Cause 2, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot

  3. Well, my favorites are… and I am going to sound VERY OLD…

Diablo II – Probably one of the best games ever made IMHO.
XCom Series – Microprose and Firaxis
Darkest Dungeon – it feels like a living boardgame that will beat you up to tears. It's similar to XCom but in a dark fantasy setting with an amazing atmosphere.
Castlevania / Metroid Series – Classics
    Fighting games in general

4X games in general thought not as much as I used to (Age of Wonders series is probably the one I played the most because it's on a fantasy setting)

The Elder Scrolls series, specially Morrowind and Skyrim

I feel personally attacked and directly offended after Allen's comment on open world games and bashing on TES XD (though he might be right, I didn't say that!). He made it up after praising FFVI so we are good XD
That said, the best JRPG ever IMHO is Chrono Trigger.

    Favorite "BAD" games…
Heretic/Hexen games… they are not bad but they are not DOOM good… I love them because of the fantasy setting though.
Dishonored games… they are actually pretty good with amazing setting but they are SO easy once you get certain powers… totally OP (Recomended for Mistborn fans)

    Great video!

  4. Yay this was so much fun! I am a sucker for pretty much EVERY FF game, like I don't care I will play them all multiple times lol. Been playing through FF7 Remastered and trying to get my hands on a PS5

  5. Haven't watched the video yet, but I want to say Dishonored is one of my favourite series and I think that Arkane Studios would be perfect for a Mistborn Game. The atmosphere and general feel fits and with some tweaks the powers and gadgets could easily be turned into allomancy.

  6. YES! This was such a great discussion.
Horizon Zero Dawn is fantastic – super cool setting, story and a ton of fun.
Allen was hilarious and on-point as usual (I'm with him on the ps2, it's god-tier)

  7. I was also a bit of a Prince of Persia snob…so I'm really hoping they don't mess up the remaster. I have played the most recent God of War, though, and yes, it's pretty good.

Witcher III is the type of good that makes me sad other games aren't as good.

I'm solidly hyped for Horizon: Forbidden West! Just hope I can actually snag a PS5 by then. Also for the new Ratchet & Clank.

I've only recently ever tried a single Final Fantasy game, that being FFXIV. It's…okay. If I weren't playing it with friends, I don't know that it would have any staying power, though.

I've sunk far too many hours into Assassin's Creed, The Banner Saga, XCOM, Age of Empires, Batman: Arkham, Divinity: Original Sin, The Elder Scrolls, The Force Unleashed, Knights of the Old Republic (I'm that guy who thinks the second game is even better than the first), Dragon Age, Mass Effect…
