I fear nerfs are incoming, specifically convoke , the burst is so crazy but we do struggle with single target sustained dps when convoke is off at least that's what i feel.
Isn't the spec only really strong because of balance affinity though? Seems a bit weird that the spec is only strong when you're not playing as a cat, assuming that's true. Either way though, I don't think even with these nerfs and buffs that feral will be the strongest. Sure, maybe it'll be stronger than DK (Although heck, doubt it) but stronger than balance that is ranged? Very doubtful.
No doubt feral is overlooked though. Even in BFA I thought the spec was crazy. Hopefully not too long until people see its potential.

Hey Blu, did u saw new sims from raid? there is Owl damage as well, almost 30% time spend in owl : how is that slap(as u someday told) for u?
To be honest. I am a heric raider feral main, (im not that hardcore, but play best i can) and I say let's enjoy it while it lasts. I actually think feral will suffer with +50% coming from f bites and convoke longterm though. I just hope blizzard realizes that feral's real numbers come from being smart rather than "just high damage" getting blood talons before convoke, not having tigers fury up during convoke, having all bleeds on targets before convoke… lots of convoke management. Knowing to f bite over rip if targets health isn't high enough etc. I mean feral I think has one of the LONGEST "these conditions, do this" lists. I am not that geared and almost keeping up with deathknights in my raid group.
Let's enjoy it … and pray they don't nerf convoke.
I'm on the insta declined bandwagon as well. Picked up feral specifically when it was doing poor to try to squeeze out the best numbers I can. I'm glad it is very underrepresented with only 2000 on those rankings. I'm proud to not be playing flavor of the month (DK).
Question though why take blood talons over Feral Frenzy? I understand BT buffs bite which currently is the bulk of our damage but in sim (and more so in my own testing) I'm getting way better performance out of Feral Frenzy as it essentially is 2 bites (1. the damage it outputs is on par with a full bite, and 2. instantly getting 5 combo points adding in another bite)?
in Emerald Nightmare i was top DPS for the first couple of weeks and then other classes got gear and they scaled much better with gear. in Nighthold i only was in the middle of the pack. so as we german say "don't praise the day before the evening" 😉
yes currently we are fine and fun too play. i love playing torghast and m+ with my feral. i dont raid anymore, sadly to time consuming.
Love it when people actually accept me and I blast them away with my dps in mythic and raids xD feral feels awesome atm

Feral is my favorite spec in the game, but if you’re not playing balance you’re taking too much away from your team.
What average dps do you have in mythics overall? simulations are nice sure and in single target its great but i find it hard to find that value in dungeons compared to other specs.
best legendary for raiding? apex or cat?

I want to share something absurd.
On the 18th / DEC / 20, I did an absurd damage of 195,053 DPS, a hit, unfortunate, I only went to observe this damage after reviewing the video on a Castle LFR, I have an image and video for those who want to see it and I am still present trying to find out where this absurd hit came from, with ilev 170.
I love feral and believe in it but until it appears on a msi or world first vid people won’t drop those invite =
