Hmmm…. 1. Celes- I know the story started with Terra, but I always felt Celes was the main protagonist after she joined 2. Ultros- Misunderstood octopus. Need I say more? 3. Edgar- Always loved his tools in the game. 4. General Leo- He might have only been there for a short time, but he stood alone against the ultimate evil of Kefka. 5. Relm- Shes cute and Interceptor approves this message.

Shadow offs himself at the end of the game if you don't go to the inn and rest multiple times through out and see all his scenes. Pretty insane, if he doesn't confront his past; he doesn't make it out with your party at the end
I've replayed it many times and I always seem to use the same four units as my go to: 1. Sabin 2. Edgar 3. Mog (love that moogle dance) 4. Gogo (MORE BUM RUSH) If I had to pick a fifth, probably Locke.
