3:44 In 5.4, we started trying to unite the beast tribes with the rest of Eorzea, so Eorzea becoming one is highly likely to be related to that. It can't be a rejoining, since they mention Eorzea specifically, and not Hydaelyn as a whole.
And just like that, Final Fantasy XIV for the PS4 is dead… no longer being supported.
i would love to have every nation and beast tribe unified on an all out war versus the army of whatever they summon in adungeon ( would be even cooler if the primals could show up to help but i dont think it fits the lore ? )
Edit : primals showing up like FFT summons, they appear use their signature attack and desummons

You have to respect that Yoshi P values the health and wellbeing of his team over pushing out Ultimate when it would have resulted in crunch. Japan has a history of workers pushing themselves past the breaking point to the detriment of the individual and possibly the project. It's been a part of their culture. I'm so happy Yoshida wants to push back against that history and ensure he builds a happy/healthy work environment and have a team that is enthusiastic to work on 14 and future projects.
gotta nitpick a bit, "Eorzea" is only part of the shard of Hydaelyn. It's not even a whole continent, so the rejoining wouldn't make sense by saying "Eorzea becomes one"
I love that this interview confirms the dev team completes an ultimate (maybe mechanic by mechanic, but that’s still the entire fight) multiple times.

Also, I really wanted to thank you, guys. Not too long ago I was watching one of your videos and in it, you'll were talking about the Bozjan Southern Front which I had given up on. After that, I decided to retry it again and while I didn't enjoy all of it (the first 2/3 was a real slog) once I got to the upper island and started unlocking a lot more for my holster it just became a lot more fun. Finished getting to rank 15 today and on the last leg of my relic weapon quest. So thank you'll. I don't think without that video I would have revisited it.
