Finally confirmed that Bethesda & Xbox are going to join forces to make exclusive Xbox Series X games. The brand new addition to the Xbox Game Studio family is one of the biggest ones in history.

Sony’s PlayStation 5 fans keep asking if this deal means that Bethesda games are going to be exclusive to the Xbox platform. With the Ps5 locking down games it was only a matter of time before Microsoft and Xbox decided to do the same.

This new Xbox acquisition is one of the biggest in gaming history. Zenimax and Bethesda are officially Xbox first party studios.

  1. We all know Microsoft should lock the exclusives down to xbox eco system. As we all know sony goi g to make sunset overdrive 2 as a PS5 exclusive so why not. Xbox would be a power house. Xbox game pass would be a Totally Must buy… Tweeplatypus

  3. It's crazy how Xbox has grown since 2017. They can now do an hour long E3 conference with pretty much only first party games, something that We couldn't even think of in the last generation.

  4. The size of ZeniMax is close to all Ps first party studios combined. 2300+ employees.
And Xbox studios was already bigger before the acquisition. Now it dwarfs sony's first party studios, it's not even close.

  5. I'll be shocked if Starfield when to any other platform other than the Xbox ecosystem. MMOs and any other Sony deal in place are the only games I see going to Playstation.

  6. I’m sure all new ips like Starfield will be exclusive to Xbox and Pc. But already running franchises like Elder Scrolls and Fallout will be 6 month or 1 year timed exclusives to Xbox and pC.

  7. My take on Phil’s and SOME is just this, Ghostwire Tokyo and Deathloop along with any online live games will go to PS. Starfield, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Doom, Wolfenstein, etc. will all be XBOX, PC and Game Pass only.

  8. I swear xbox are a bunch of dicks, all they do is buy game studios and remove their games from other platforms. Sony exclusives are from long time developers who started out with playstation and didn't feel the need to make cross platform so its really pathetic of them to do this

  9. 100% most titles will be exclusive but I think Bethesda is going to help pump out some of the other xbox studios games faster. Xbox 1st party is so big that it's going to be have to split in 2 separate publishers. Matt booty is gonna have to have a partner.

  10. I think to secure the viability of GamePass as the best deal in gaming, Microsoft has to take a harder stance on the exclusivity of these Bethesda games. It's doing well now, but a larger audience means they're less likely to do something stupid like suddenly raising the subscription price to $30 (I hope this doesn't age poorly lol). And I don't see a more effective way to reach that 50 million, 70 million, hell, even 100 million subscriber base without heavy hitting exclusives (RPGs especially that you can play for weeks on end) on the Xbox platform and GamePass, including Bethesda's future games.

  12. There is a new rumor on the internet about Microsoft actually in the works patenting a portable console by the name of "Xboy" and that I'll be announcing soon to compete with the Nintendo switch lite, nothing has been confirmed and it may be false but how knows since the leaks and rumors around Xbox have been very accurate, we'll see in my pov I would definitely buy it if it turns out to be real.

  13. Xbox are definitely going all in this gen, some games will be exclusive but we really shouldn't be focused on just that, I think the fact games will take full advantage of the hardware without having to divert time into ports for other platforms is the big takeaway from this.
