Like I was saying during the livestream, follow the stream by your tavern. It take you to and from the mine quicker and it is the most efficient way to travel vs following the roads. Outside of that I am loving the game and the Livestream.

Ngl. This just looks like the crafting half of an rpg, with none of the cool, story, and magic and dragons n shit..
a 16×16 field of flax needs 256 flax seeds to maintain but returns around 1000-1100 flax, can't really remember how much, which is processed into seeds and stalks, the stalks are what you need to make linen, so a 16×16 field provides about 100 linen cloth a year, and the extra seeds sell quite well. It takes a little over a day for me to prepare and plant a 16×16 field. luckily I just got 2 field workers and my next project is a pig sty. Also I'm sure you know this, but I just found out, that storages share inventory across buildings, so I have one by the mine and just use the winters mining iron ore, stone limestone and salt. and it seems that if there is a building by the cave, the bears dont spawn, so i built the excavation shed, and plan to have a small house up there, once i unlock the mine.
O boy you are gonna have your hands full walking that in.

Why not build resource barn outside the mine? and the wash tub works as a well when used with the water skin.
