I finally fixed it. You need to go to your firewall settings and allow connections through Crewlink.exe.

We were together at Discord and tried do install it.
Out of 5 players, 3 had no problems (10 seconds download time)
With 2 (I'm one of these 2) the download took over an hour, I did something else during that time. I came back 5 minutes ago only to find out that the download failed. When downloading again, all files are downloaded directly, but the download also failed again immediately.
I have no idea what causes this error for some people and so far I haven't found anything to fix it.
If someone knows more I would be very grateful for help!

i tried all of this and still the ring is red (around me) everytime i speak and a red ring around the pther players
On a vpn, using the same voice server fixed mine. Looks like a nat issue according to the forums
Wait wait wait. For push to talk to work, we have to click back onto Among Us??? I thought I'd had to click onto crew link or something for that! Does that mean that if I wanna deafen before speaking in the discord call, I have to still be on the Among Us window before anything else?

I had the no circle issue and my fix was to change my microphone input. It said that it was working when I tested it in settings, but not in game.

Do you have any fixes for the issue where you get a connection/wifi symbol with a slash through it on all other people in the lobby? I have only just gotten CrewLink yesterday and I haven't been able to get it to work. I have tried following videos much like this one but my issue isn't a red circle. I have tried deleting and redownloading, different versions, other servers, changing every other setting to fit all possible combinations, and restarting my computer and yet nothing seems to be fixing it. There don't seem to be any tutorials/videos on how to get it to work for my case and I have only been able to find one person who has even mentioned the same issue as me. I really want to be able to use proximity chat but this seems to be a troublesome bug. If you know anything that could even in the slightest bit it would be very much appreciated. Even if you don't, thank you anyway and have an amazing day.

i have no red circles, my green circle around me is green, there is no disconnect, and i stil cant hear. Microphone settings and speaker settings are correct and we were all on the dame server. What is wrong?? help plz!
Guys… you gotta go to advanced settings, and then click confirm on the default IP that usually fixes all of our issues!!
