Dyson Sphere Program puts your logic to the test, and the Yellow Research Cube has been one of the banes of my base so far. Are you ready to clean some spaghetti? Because I’ve got my work cut out for me in this Twitch Streaming session. Fix one problem and seven more arise. I didn’t make a base, but a hydra.
I didn’t know what to make of a lot of the resources — and that’s ok to a point since this is my first play through of DSP. But not only did I make a mess with tracks, I also bottlenecked my research to the point where it stopped progressing (although it did start up to a trickle after rebooting the game). Still, this is a video showing some of the later game stuff and also some cleaning of my early game mistakes. I don’t have time to do everything that needs to be done, and some fixes are better left to a different play through. But today we fix some of the quick things we’ve learned from experience and asking at different sources. Enjoy!
Still, because the intuitive “get Hydrogen from Water” solution is NOT in the game, what we’re left with is unlocking a specific technology to allow our Oil Refineries to do X-Ray Cracking. Conveniently, it produces both materials we need to create Red Cubes. Enjoy my misadventures as I try to figure things out, and let me know if you want to see a series or more extended looks at this.
I apologize for my facecam blocking some information in the crafting/fabrication menu. I’ll make sure to move it for any future videos I do.

hydrogen stores in a tank much better then a box – 10k tank vs 20 per stack in box 🙂 This game is fantastic. I never played any of the assembly line or factory games, so now I may have to because i have enjoyed this one so much.
Hey, great clip… Quick question if I may… Where dit you get that product tree, that so handsomely lists all the items needed to replicate something.. Been looking for something like that, but no luck so far… 🙂
