I failed the Alwin story line the first time I was supposed to wait a day. The season changed the next day and Failed the quest. It's not available now.

Just be aware that Uniegost has a bad habit of dying either before or at year 10 which conveniently starts his next chapter as well. Save at start of spring season in year 10. That way if you approach to pay your taxes and the failed quest message pops up you can just reload and his dead self will be casually strolling through town just like normal again. His next chapter after this one starts in another year or so so prepare to rinse and repeat.

Once you get the hang of the night hunt quests, they are easy. I go to the area in the northwest of the map, near the moors/watering hole. There are 4-5 boars in the pools, and a bunch of wolves directly south and southeast of there. You can easily make a run through that area and get your 10-15 kills in a night.

Luckily I was chatting up several NPCs before they dropped their stats to garbage levels. I kept talking to them and grabbed three of them to get me to sixteen population (one of my couples had a baby). I still have some more for when I get to 15000 DR 😳😳😳. Doubt that will be anytime soon but w/e.
night hunt blows.. 13 boar/bear or wolf.. in the dark. So hard to find them all and since they nerf'd the reload, i refuse to do that one.

If food does indeed spoil while in chest and inventory what about the person who put stew in the river for 10 years..
could it be possible that maybe if you drop the food on the ground instead of putting it in a chest or some inventory that it will prevent it from spoiling as long as things on the ground don't disappear?
I'm still over 7 episodes behind slowly catching up. I know there is at least 41 episodes and I'm on this one so far so I'm catching up.
