Friday Night Funkin’ is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn’t approve of him. It’s up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin’ is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. Doki Doki Literature Club! (DDLC) is a 2017 freeware visual novel developed by American independent game studio Team Salvato for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux. The game was initially distributed through itch.io, and later became available on Steam. The story is told from the perspective of a high school student who reluctantly joins the school’s literature club on the insistence of his best friend from his childhood, and is given the option to woo three of its four female members. Doki Doki Literature Club! features a non-traditional plot structure with multiple endings and unlockable cutscenes with each of the main characters. Although the game initially appears to be a lighthearted dating simulator, it is in fact a psychological horror game that extensively breaks the fourth wall.
The game was developed in an estimated two-year period by a team led by Dan Salvato, previously known for his modding work as part of Project M. According to Salvato, the inspiration for the game came from his mixed feelings toward anime and a fascination for surreal and unsettling experiences. Upon its release, Doki Doki Literature Club! received positive critical attention for its successful use of horror elements and unconventional nature within the visual novel genre. The game also inspired internet memes and achieved a large following online.

[After the Bad End Mishaps]
It had been some time since the Indie Trio and the Literature Club had seen each other. Sayori noticed Monika had been missing from the club for quite a while. A week in fact. Worried for her, the vice president decided to pull a page from BF's warping book and go after Monika. When she arrived at Inkwell Isle, Cuphead was closing in on the Devil's Lair.
Sayori: Huh? Hey, Cuphead! Wait!
Cuphead: Who's there!? [Aimed his finger gun at her] What the!?
Sayori: Eep! It's me, Sayori! What are you doing back at the Devil's place?
Cuphead: Well your pal Monika decided to help me after she accidentally replaced herself with the contracted boss I was after–.
Sayori: Contract? But you said you're no longer in debt!
Cuphead: The Devil tricked me! There was a loophole in the first contract that I have to gather a second run of rare contracts that I have a 24 hour time limit on!
Sayori: [She was shocked but had a grumpy pout] That lousy little–!
Cuphead: Anyway, your friend tried to get the contracts the easy way by messing with my world's "Admin Controls" or something. But something messed with her glitchy panel, and now I can hear her voice coming from the Devil's Lair. I'm going in to save her!
Sayori: Wait, I'm coming too! I came prepared! [Showed a roll of rope]
Cuphead: Uh… alright. Just don't get hurt!
{The duo rushed into the lair. Inferno's, demon pawns, a glorious throne, and above all a sight to see, The Devil was seen toying and taking pleasure upon an injured Monika]
Devil: Oh sweet little girl. Such a surprise to barge into my glorious hellish lair. Do you simply wish to work for my devilish and wonderous Casino?
Monika: N-No! I warped in here by accident, I swear! Please just let me go!
Devil: Oh come now. Must you really have the audacity to deny such a once in a lifetime chance? [He rubbed his fist against his chest tauntingly as he held his trident.] If you reconsider the choice, you will be under my rule and your soul will stay alive for eternity! As long as you abide to your position in my Casino, I assure you no death will come early. [Insert Grinch tier devious smile] I promise~…
Monika: No! Let me go!! Someone! Help me!!!
{The front doors of the lair bust open, followed by an EX Blast hitting the devil straight in the face}
Devil: Agh! Who in the–!?
Cuphead: Oh no you don't, buster! You're not laying a finger on her!
Sayori: Monika! We're here!!
Monika: Ah! S-Sayori! Cuphead!
Devil: [Rubbed his face before staring at the two] Oh? Back so soon? Wonderful! And you have a new comrade to replace that logical and weaker brother of yours. Now, hand over the–.
Cuphead: DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT MY BROTHER LIKE THAT!!! [He quickly used his Super Art Energy Beam on him, twirling his body and blasting him]
Sayori: That's so rude of you, mean Devil! [She then used her rope to lasso the trident and tried to take it away from the Devil]
Devil: Agh! You arrogant brats!!
It seems like Monika had got herself stuck in a situation when all she wanted to do was hack Inkwell Isle and get the contracts the easy way. But tampering with another world is a lot harder than it looks. The Devil is in her grasp, and now it's up to Cuphead and Sayori, who are upset about the Devil talking awfully about the K-O'd Mugman, to save Monika from becoming a Casino Lackey. What a good day for a swell battle. Cuphead, Sayori, good luck. Now go!!!
