  26. This was epic. Still sad to see the homie Whitty go out like that but Hot damn, easily the best corruption mod out there. The new voices really hit hard and resonate with each other. You can really feel the effort that was put into this. Great job as always.

  38. dam, the final through. im going to explain what that meter does.

    basically it'll heals your health. well, bf cannot heal his own health, and whitty will always try push you down, when the meter fills, u could press a button idk. also, pressing the red note will increase ur meter better.
    when gf sings, you'll instantly get a health gain. it's awesome mechanic

  42. (i'm so sorry for this overly dramatic comment and that i missed the premiere, i love this video so much and i had to let my inner philosopher out)

    i am legitimately left speechless.
    i don't get amazed or get chills very often, but DAMN this one was just absolutely incredible.
    the details of the opening cutscene,
    whitty breaking away the strings to free himself,
    that ending rush he pulls to catch you offguard and free himself. (he nearly does, too!)

    but most importantly, i feel like this one has proper closure on whitmore.
    i'm upset he very obviously suffered the same fate,
    but the ending dialogue being respectful yet somewhat cryptic and obviously still malicious made it feel like what he did wasn't pointless at all. (i can't find the right words to describe it.)
    hell, even the corruption ITSELF could not comprehend why whitty never gave up, it couldn't understand at all why he refused to bow, and fought despite there being no chance of winning. all it could do was admire his courage and ask itself… why?
    it really made it seem less desperate and more of a heroic final stand, fighting against all odds, refusing to get on your knees… just because it's the right thing to do.
    this is what i wanted, and the complete opposite of how every corruption mod i've seen so far ends. not with desolance or sadness, but a respectful farewell. yet still with that malicious comment at the end that takes away your sulking emotions and sparks you with rage again, because of the lives that have been taken, and what we just witnessed of what happened to whitmore right in front of us as well. he was the only one who could've saved us, and he did! in another timeline, though.. and that ending wasn't the perfect ending we wanted either, too. and now he's gone.
    i'm sure the same rage that was sparked in some must have been the same fury whitty must have felt as well, i'm sure.
    whitty put up one HELL of a fight, he won once, but got cheated and was caught off-guard and tag-teamed. yet with all these disadvantages, he never bowed down. he stood strong on his feet and resisted the pain, and kept singing and fighting until he could no longer, all for the good of the world, as he had nothing else to lose anyway. i'm sure his efforts weren't in vain in the slightest.

    it's funny. a doomsday device created by a doomsday cult being hunted down by a top secret organization because of his dangerous tendencies despite his own intentions of not wanting to harm anyone at all and is the fault of his own biology… was the world's last hope against an apocalyptic entity.
    he never wanted to hurt anyone, and yet… he finally found a use for his original purpose. for good. he found his meaning.

    you were the flame that fought against the darkness, who lit up the world, when it was at its darkest. who gave hope, faith, and protection to all who crossed your shining light.

    your flame will rise again.

  44. It has been such a journey, man. I remember watching the original week and being super impressed with everything. But now that you guys remade the whole thing, it just amped everything up to 11. The art is amazing, the music is amazing, and the people behind this mod are amazing. You, sir, deserve a medal.
