  28. This is a very interesting remix. When compared to the original, it seems much more somber, more solemn.

    The original Cycles, in my opinion, was about the endless, hellish cycle that Lord X creates for his victims. It was about fear, and the terror felt in those trapped by Lord X, but this remake pretty much flips that on its head.

    When listening to this song, it almost felt like a song of sorrow. It's like Lord X is trapped in the same endless, hellish cycle he creates, and perhaps there is a side of this twisted being that is much more human. Maybe he is just like us in the ways that we suffer. Perhaps he pities himself just like we will do in times of need, or maybe even Lord X wishes for a disconnect from the destruction of realities and his eternal hunger for pain.

    It's odd to think that such an evil being could wish for rest from his own wickedness. That idea adds a lot to his character, makes him more human, and makes him more believable. It's a very interesting parallel, and I love it. Keep up the good work guys!

  43. Sorry if I’m picky but I feel like the classic Execution reference should sound the same.
    Other than that, this whole song was amazing!
    It feels like Cycles did when I listened to it for the first time, so empty and soulless, just you and Lord X singing alone.
    No one will be there to save you.
